    You did a fine job of visiting this small town and providing some background details, however the reason the River Aire was so calm is that it was actually the canal

      Ha ha thank you for watching! Yes I'm very sorry about that the waterways of Knottingley are a little confusing - but thank you so much for clarifying that for me, I'll pin your comment so everyone can see :)

    where there is muck there is brass we used to be told back in the 20th century, thanks for another of your great entertaining and educating videos....interestingly on min 13.15 there is a huge eucalyptus tree, a little piece of australia in yorkshire

      Couldn't have said it better myself - a great way to sum up Knottingley! And good spot on the tree - always a hidden gem to be seen with your eagle eye :) Thanks for another of your insightful comments and your support - it really means a lot to me!

    Interesting video. Do you know when The Anvil (formerly a pub) was built? It is very close to the town hall, just over the bridge.

    Enjoyed the walk through but its Kellingley Colliery not Knottingley. St Botolph is the patron Saint of travelers with around 70 churches dedicated to him through out the country

    Do you have a plan to visit Scotland once the lockdown ends?

    • @LetsWalkUK
      @LetsWalkUK  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! Yes absolutely I'm really looking forward to visiting Scotland - most likely in the summer when we've got a bit more daylight and I can film lots of places in one day :)

    Would you do a tour of Ackworth?

    • @LetsWalkUK
      @LetsWalkUK  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely! Next time I'm in and around the Pontefract/Knottingley area I'll make sure to stop by and make a video there! Thanks for watching and for the suggestion :)

    Why you don't discover(inside ) the main places where you visit

    • @LetsWalkUK
      @LetsWalkUK  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! Thanks for watching the video - generally I don't venture inside places either because they're closed (as was the case on this morning) or there are differing rules on filming inside private property - but I hope a view of the town gives you a good feel of the place as a whole :)
