I can barely play anything from 2 years ago now and I’m pretty pressed about it. But I’m learning some new songs, like Hey Julie by Fountains of Wayne and Miserable at Best by Mayday Parade! I’m gonna try to relearn this now that you brought it back up :D
I know you probably have a different life, but you gotta keep uploading man, your videos helped me so much and I would love if you continued to teach me and all these other people
i remember when i got my first keyboard when i was maybe 15 years old and watching this exact video. art is dead became the most complicated and impressive song i could play. the only one with chords, for sure, and i was so excited and proud when i finally got it down. i fell out of playing piano for a few years, for whatever reason, but i just recently got back into it. i’ve been teaching myself again for about a week now, and it took me less than five days to come back to this video. i got that same little kick of excitement when i finally got the song down again. i’m turning 21 this year, and this tutorial still stuck with me after all these years. i haven’t found a single other channel that has helped me nearly as much as yours has, both at 15 and at 21. thank you for that.

hey! i have the almost exact same keyboard, i just got mine yesterday for my birthday and i have a question! mine is way too sharp is there a way i can tune it to be flatter?
Fur Elise is a really good one to play around with in my opinion... It makes your explore the length of the piano, exercises making both hands work together but do different things, and it's not insanely complicated like some of Beethoven's other pieces... Mozart's Turkish March (Rondo alla turca) is also a good one when you're ready to play around with something a little more difficult... The big thing is to just regularly make sure you're pushing yourself to learn things that seem hard... You'll notice over time you'll come back to a song that you used to think was impossible, and learn it with relative ease
You'll wanna lift off the pedal occasionally or it will start to sound a little muddy, but you'll wanna be using the sustain pedal throughout the song for sure. Just find little moments every few seconds where it's comfortable to lift of and press again quickly and it'll get easier over time :)
Just make sure you sit down at your piano/keyboard every day... Even if only for 10 or 15 minutes to run up and down a scale a few times or practice some chord shapes, or learn parts of a song... It's more important to do it every day than it is to spend hours at a time doing it... You'll realize periodically that you're changing chord shapes faster or landing on the keys you wanna land on cleaner and more often... That's the best advice I know... Just find time in your day to play every day :)

I was trying to find the most accurate version but had no luck he does play it different ways so I would find a tutorial you think you can trust
