You guys in Europe get the good klein handles. It looks similar to a Hazet screwdriver. We in USA get the ones with acetate handles, with a rubber grip that loosen overtime, or hardens and crack.
Another great video cheers Ryan. It’s funny you should say (screwdrivers breaking) that because one of my favourite screwdrivers of all time is the bahco. They are shocking when you use them on the wrong size screw shatter like arsenals dreams every year.Screwdrivers for myself are like Crisp I have different favourites every day at the moment in my everyday tools I have the facom.Test kit Bacho and Kleins in my unit. Thanks again you’re a star
Stanley are the best. I’ve never had a Stanley screwdriver break on me and I give my drivers abuse some times. I sent a set of Wera back last week because the quality was poor for Wera I think they are getting them made in china or somthink now so iv got myself another set of Stanley and they will be good for another ten years or so or until some little turd nicks em.
The reason is that the lamp inside may not light up if you wear rubber soled shoes, or stand on insulating matter. They are notoriously unreliable for indicating electric potential and thus can be life threatening. Do use a two prong measurement always.
You are using your self as ground to indicate a voltage you can get hurt doing this if the voltage is high I put mine in the bin. There a danger especially to new people in the trade. As they may stick this were there is a lot of energy. On DC you can feel the charge going through you. There a danger I would only ever use one to wire a plug or it eat with or scrap crap out of my boots.
@@markwilliscroft3410 that’s because most people don’t know how to use them or what they are actually for the tester screwdrivers are an early form of voltage indicator . Not to be used on anything live for more than a second or two . Example of use (1 your changing a light fitting or the switch at home you ask your son to turn the mains switch off You give a quick touch on the line just a second or two the neon glows shit son I told you to turn the mains switch off ? Sorry dad I didn’t hear you.(2 you stop at your local for a couple of pints on your way home there’s a short length of twin and earth sticking out off the wall we’re the TV used to be landlord ask you to sort it out ok mate you don’t know if it is live or not you have a tester screwdriver in your Brest pocket a quick touch on the line conductor and it’s live you now need to make it safe . That’s what they are for and doing up screws as well . But I have to agree that they should go in the bin as they can light up at a voltage as low as 12V I wouldn’t trust one
Ive never seen the Facom ones but ive heard they are pretty good. Not my style i don't think, i'm too used to Wiha. Not even the few Were drivers i own am i much for.
A great spare set to have for "the borrowers". Good video!
had these for 6 months and they've been bang on

Literally bought these today then saw your TikTok about them when I got home lol they seem pretty bloody good for only 5er!!
😂😂😂 that’s mental
To use those screwdrivers you need to wear a sleeveless longsdale top
😂😂😂😂
Klein work for me I like the handle it's better than most of the others!! 👍🏻

😂😂 I need to try the bahco, I had the old set and hated them. Yeah I chop and change far too often as well
Bahco tools are quality imo
I think Witte make knipex screwdrivers they are a German tool company as well.
I’d never be without my Fluke set. Got them as a free gift with one of their offers.
The best comparison would be to come back after 3 years of use and see how they're all doing.
Can you remind me? 😅😂😂
@@RDavisElectrical 🤣⏰ will do 👌
😂😂
2 years update now😉
@@RDavisElectrical 3 year reminder.
Tips are soft on the Aldi ones, they buckle after a few sockets
Yeah a few people have said
@@RDavisElectrical I bought a set too, not with any intention of using them long term, just wanted to see like you
@@glenhunt2566 I might try Lidl next 😂😂
Will you be carrying out any tests on them?
Had to be Aldi.
An when you say we. Yes we, your taking us on the journey
❤️

I think Wera screwdrivers are made in the Cezch Republic they have been made there for years now.
I’ve just brought a vessel vde screwdriver set and there mint I would deffo recommend 👍
My set did last about a month the Philips seam OK the terminal drivers crack an chip then damage screws.
Did you try PB SwissTools jet ?
Why shouldn't you use the clear one?

Anything where you form part of the circuit... goes in the bin.
Great content mate! I've had them before. Found the flat head tips bend after a while. The PH are OK but won't ever get them again
Thanks mate. Yeah thought that might be the case
Any recommended cheaper alternatives to the veto bags? Class videos mate!
Velocity is cheaper and just as good
stanley
Have you tried bahco I’ve used them forever
great vid. any links to the boddingtons please.
Loadout.shop is where I got them 👍🏻
What you think of irazola ones?
Quality vid 👍🏻
Thanks mate 👊🏻
i find the small fuse tester screw driver good for alarm pannels
Yeah it ok for that, wouldn’t use it to test tho
I find the fuse tester good for prizing tins of paint open or for a Eugenics Project 😂😂😂
Nice Review
Can you please try out the ones made by Swiss tools?
I’ve been wanting to try them for a while. Just need to find someone that sells them 😅
Why don't you use the tester screwdriver? What is wrong with it?
We have far batter ways of testing them using that

i use the tester screw driver for alarm pannels pir and the likes. but its not often. i find my everyday 4mm terminal too big
Michail in the sparkys world they are commonly referred to as death sticks I rather touch test then use one of those 😄 🤣

They'll be seconds thats why they are 5 quid in Aldi,
Vessel or PB Swiss for me 🪛
They are identical with "Tolsen" insulated screwdriver, the cheapest one not Premium one (those are much better)...anyway Workzone make Junk tools...🤢
Draper all day long
Bet they last forever cos you won’t ever use them
True 😂😂😂😂
Short term yes
Long term...nope
They look like Felo handles, possibly a bad batch and sold off to anyone who would buy the lot 🤔
