@@roderickstephenllc I was being facetious of coarse. Beautiful home and great location but Northerners are driving up the prices too fast. They make a quick buck and move on not really caring about the city. I understand this is the American way. But when it happens to your home city it's bothersome. I moved from Raleigh to Charlotte in 1997 and lived in Charlotte for 10 years in the good old days when Larry Johnson "Not" Cam Newton was the toast of the town. He purchased the largest house on Lake Wyle. He held epic parties back in the day. I never got a chance to go but I knew people who did. Have a good one!
@@kingoftsedeq1392 Touché. Glad you got to experience the city for what it was back then. I definitely don't think its reached it heyday though! The last 20 years have been great for the city (not so much for the Panthers or Hornets but that's all relative). I will say this area has been a haven for those who don't want the hassle of the traffic in Atlanta or the fast pace of Raleigh. We're quietly doing our own thing people are noticing. That's a big reason for all relocations from all points along with employment opportunities. Or the fact that our weather and location make for a retirement mecca. Appreciate you taking the time to comment and thanks for supporting the channel! Doing my best to highlight what the Metro has to offer.

I can't believe this property is $5M. It must be the location because that property does not constitute a $5 million dollar house. 900K at best.
I am wondering if you are watching the same video as everyone else?? This is a high end LAKE FRONT property with a ton of upgrades. Not sure about your lakes in your area but here the NEW lake front properties are limited. It’s also over 6000 sq ft. Let’s choose to uplift and support folks ….negative opinions don’t help anyone …jus sayin😊
Interesting take on this one, Lawrence. Waterfront property is always priced at a premium. But that aside, your math here works out to somewhere around $150 a foot for a custom home with a finished basement. Even though this is a developed project, Im not sure many "tract builders" nationwide could construct something this large at that sort of discount. Charlotte area real estate is severely overpriced. $800k per bedroom bathroom suite just for lake access is more costly than oceanfront property. It's ridiculous
