I'm glad this man willingly went to hospital, which means he must have been feeling pretty bad. My mother has COPD and going into hospital has saved her life, more than once. This is because they could medicate her and use the BiPap machine to push oxygen into her lungs and through her body at a higher rate than a nebulizer machine and home oxygen concentrator ever could. Ultimately, she works with a Pulmonologist to try to stay out of the hospital (and, so far that's working out well).

    Well said. . .
my Dad grabbed the baccy tin from me so i thought he was OK, then i woke up to find him passed away, i wish he had helped himself call 999 or really let me know something is really wrong so i could have.

This is terrible, one of the worst I've seen. I've seen end stage lung disease, AND this is horrifying. He seems to be making all the wrong decisions for himself!
