Arsenal replaced Ramsdale for Raya for a slight improvement. Just look at some PL teams 3rd choice keepers. There cant be many you wouldn't take in s heartbeat
Spot on as always your opinion, As an academy coach I had this problem few years ago, when I used to finish games and think if I had opposition keeper we would of won that game, I had to release the keepers that’s academy football not a club trying to get back in prem, no more messing about he’s had his time.
Another option is Omlin at Gladbach. Worked under Farke before and now out of favour but a very good keeper who's experienced and played well at a higher level than the championship
Not many prem players willing to come to Leeds due to the way FARKE treats them. We had Spence who was never used and FARKE used injuries and then attitude. Spurs recalled him and loaned him out to Seria A, he is now a regular starter for Spurs used as a RB, LB or CB. Last January we brought in the Burnley lad who was hardly used as a starter even though he was by far the best RB at the club and then we had the Bournemouth Winger who never had a bad game and always put in a shift. He scored a few too but hardly ever started and spent most of his time on the bench.
@ you forget to mention that FARKE said from Day one Rodon would be our first choice CB and on top of that he decided to banish Charlie Cresswell so had no options

I personally don't rate Darlow, but we've no choice but to give Darlow his chance, and I'm willing to go along with that, but I do think we should try to get a keeper on loan or a free transfer keeper in January.
Hi Con, It does make you wonder what Darlow has to do to get a start. Meslier was ok when he first came into the side but he hasn't developed in the GK he had the potential to be. His confidence was shot way before Big Sam dropped him, he should have been dropped before the Christmas before as his mistakes were costing us points in the premier league even then. The amount of times he pushes the ball back into play when attempting to save a shot or collect a cross is unreal. He should be turning the ball around the post or over the bar and we defend the corner. Analysts are a bane of the game mate, they're just trying to justify their jobs. Show me a player with a 100% passing record and I can still show you a player who isn't affecting the game. The only stat that matters is the one in the top left hand corner. As a replacement I'd go for Brandon Austin at Spurs. He hasn't had a kick for them and they've just signed another keeper so he's even further down the pecking order. We could get him for a nominal fee.
If our Manager, or anyone on the coaching staff still rate Meslier then that’s worrying. Honestly I thought when we dropped down to Champo, Meslier might find his game again. I was of the opinion he got hung out to dry in the Premier league, and just lost his confidence. He was bang average last season, he’s been worse this season.

In the summer Should've gone for Cooper now at Sheff Utd (under £3m) or Johansson now at Stoke ( under £1m) Both excellent keepers both earning points for there clubs rather than costing them. Not sure who is now available if Farke doesn't think Darlow is up to it. Meslier sure isnt up to it and now costing points on a regular basis. Farke is doing him no favours in playing him, his confidence is battered and the back 4s confidence in the keeper is shot. We still have a slight advantage, so its not to late to change but carry on with this lad in goal and you can wave goodbye to promotion.

When meslier is on he’s top 10 in the world, but he’s so unfocused and screws up so much he’s bottom 10% now. Potential is huge but he’ll never fulfil it.
Overall Darlow is better than Meslier at the teams he played for he was never as inconsistent as Meslier look at his record. Why he wants to be second to Meslier is beyond me.
