Very good video. I am new to logging and HF, well ham in general. I am learning about the logging options and tools right now. All the best, 73 de KI5HXM
Excellent video. Just got my log in details back from LoTW and following the instructions here I was all done in no time. Really loving the logging software. Thanks a lot Scott. 73, Mark VK4SMA
Very good video. Clear and to the point. One thing when setting up LoTW, there was a box you checked and didn't mention why you checked it--- "Require EOF Tag". What is that? Thanks
Thanks for your kind words! The data LoTW sends on download back to Amateur Contact Log includes an EOF tag. Checking that check box ensures a complete download.
thanks for the video. Im new at all this digital logging stuff. I tried uploading my log to LOTW and it only uploaded 12 contacts. Nothing I try will it upload all 140 some contacts. any idea on what to try.? TIA 73's Paul Tyler
I'm pretty sure you did a great job with this video. Having said that, I'm finding the LoTW is incredibly difficult. Where do you upload FROM? I've entered all my contacts on eQSL and QRZ. I believe you cannot upload from QRZ unless you have a paid subscription. I'm only on FT8 and use WSJT software for that. Where does WSJT store their log info?
Hi Bill, please see the LoTW help section on our web site for step by step instructions for interfacing our software with LoTW. Uploads are handed to TQSL from AC Log. TQSL does the actual upload. Thanks for your kind words on the video!
If I have a hand written log book that goes back to 9394 can I manually put them in or is it even worth the time to do to start from the beginning. I like to buy your software but I guess I have to go to your homepage and register is that correct. An outstanding piece of software I can even use it
Hi Paul, thanks for your interest and kind words! The short answer to both questions is yes. If you have additional questions or need more detail, please e-mail me direct (see the contact e-mail address on my N3FJP web site). Thanks again!
Thanks, Scott. Excellent tutorial. 👍👍👍👍👍 Good Luck & Good DX, Al K3ZE
