Believe it or not, its the same guy. He just sounds different because its been almost 20 years since he last voiced Ayame. So his voice changed alot due to age.
It’s the same VA, but the reason he sounds different here because this original anime was aired like 20 years ago, so they were probably still young at that time.
This is the most touching thing about Ayame's character in this series. He has great guilt, really wants to change and be the best as an older brother to Yuki. Because of that, I like this episode the most, when he confides in Tohru. Also in the episode when Yuki and Tohru come to Ayame's boutique. There are times when it is difficult to forgive other people who have made big mistakes to us in the past. But clearly, it's a story that touched my heart. It's no wonder why I really like the meeting between Yuki and his brother in this animated series.

My original viewers remembered me by these channels Asianroadrage (the one I have now is new), aznroadrage, and this last one aznroad. I stopped going on this channel back in 2012 of copyrights! 😭 After that I didn’t bother logging on anymore and forgot my passcode. I don’t plan to retrieve it anymore. I still have all the original clips stored in my flash drive but not going to upload it. It was a phase I went through during school back in the days and want to share my fav animes to viewers who couldn’t afford to buy it back then. 😊 To my original viewers from decades ago - Luv u all so much and I bet you are all grown up now. Uhm the animation graphics here is different from the ones released on Netflix and the ones I recently saw on youtube, was this the original graphics this anime had and was the ones being shown on netflix already a remastered one?
