I put on this and I can inhale much deeper without much struggle. I'm ashamed as a Lokean. They say when you ask for a favor of the gods or when you need something, even if it is not directly an influence under the god, always start with the god you are most acquainted with. In essence I suppose Loki is perfect as he is quick witted to solve problems, can mostly likely petition other gods on your behalf, and is one of the primordial forces. Hail Loki
A powerful pair, I'm not sure of that but a powerful love, absolutely. Dying with the loved one is one thing but spend his/her whole with him/her scriabine in pain in a cave, with the corps of their dead children, that's another.

Marvel is highly disrespectful with the way they portray the gods. You might enjoy the music because its actual culture, not something being sold to you by saxons or whomever else.
I have all the respect for God Loki but I’m also a fan of the Marvel Loki because it’s just entertainment. I don’t understand why people would compare the two when one is a pagan God and the other is in a superhero movie. Marvel isn’t trying to be disrespectful it’s just for entertainment and people need to finally understand that and stop comparing. Like how many movies are out there about the Greek Gods not all of them accurate ? And people aren’t complaining.
@@aizatori107 people compare them because they are named Loki. Live among the aseir in asgard etc. My issue with marvel is it's kind of a culture vulture in this case. Marvel does a lot of great things. Loki is pretty great, but their portrayal of odin would make me want to punch the guy in charge. I know things are open to interpretation and it is only a opinion. I just want to see the actual sagas come to life, period clothing/tools/ combat styles but with some magical aspects.
" Ancient Aliens," notes from old Norse text , Loki was " A " king of the frost giants not " The " king of all frost giants. Loki was a blood brother and military ally of Odin. Marvel Comics created a whole new mythos regarding Loki being Thor's step brother. Your music is really suggestive. In fact, on Friday night I used this song dedicated to Loki to invoke it. I woke up in the morning inspired, my deepest desires were in full bloom, feeling a terrible desire to live with intensity. Of course, so that there was no doubt of his influence, Loki left me a present in my bedroom: a small black scorpion (my zodiac sign) on the wall on my side of the bed. Anyway, thanks for your music, it is a perfect tool for magical practice and rituals. Greetings from Annonay, France.
I had a resistance about Loki, but after reading these comments I no longer ignore him. I was used to try to not think about him - it was until a few minutes ago -, because I don't want any chaos for now, and since I'm not an experienced witch, I wouldn't like to be tricked by doing something wrong. Of course I will be careful, but I will no longer be disrespectful like this! The chaos is necessary. Hail Loki! Edit: I forgot to say how much I love this song now!
As a Lokean, I've always thought of him as a bringer of change! Change can definitely be chaotic, but it can be just as needed. Whatever may come, I wish you a bright future!
Chaos is more than the absence of order. In my mothertongue we have order, a special word for out of order and chaos. As I understand it, chaos is everything in its natural state and when we try to order it, we say what's good and what we don't need. So if we look at chaos we get a better understanding of everything around us. But we mustn't forget, that pure chaos is to much to handle. And tricks are just an unwanted push to learn more. I am also not very experienced in witchcraft, but I love the chaos and everything that comes with it. And I keep little souvenirs from when things went wrong to remind me
Definitely my favourite song from the album. The vocals are great, especially the soft singing in the beginning and the hypnotic chanting. Love the sound of tagelharpa.

I love that his second name sounds very similar to the german word Lauffeuer which is a fire that is spreading quickly and mostly stays on the ground which is very fitting given his origin
aufey (la oo fea) is his mother I believe. " loki, laufey's son" in the lyrics from what I can tell edit: Laufey means leafy/ foliage in old norse. But his father, Farbauti, means "dangerous hitter" a possible interpretation of lightning hitting trees/ needles of a pine tree catching on fire and spreading quickly. So honestly I find it interesting the language is sorta similar!
Both Old Norse and German are descended from a common language at one point, although old Norse has more in common with Swedish, Danish, Icelandic and Norwegian than German itself

Thanks for this. Loki is a brave, protective, smart, powerful, wise god. He's a good father, brother in arms and friend. And he was badly depicted only because he was half-jotun, but mostly because he was probably the only one who was able to help Asgard staying up by being the one finding solutions to issues, and remembering to Aesirs that they were doing shi often, and needed to be channeled and told the truth. The old one defamed Loki's name for eras after taking the just place of Tyr, the REAL original God of Asgard. But now this is all changing. Hail to Loki, hail to Hel, Jormungandr and Fenrir

I hope they return a bit closer to his true character, a bit more akin to what was displayed in the first Thor film and go so much deeper, as the other films really removed the essence of the Norse characters. Loki would be a good character to do explore that, with his involvement with the other races, and willingness to exploit the lore of the world around him. He's a pretty cool character. I respect the original lore and telling of Loki, and Marvel's retelling of him is vastly flawed, but nonetheless entertaining. I would really appreciate it if they gave more acknowledgment of his impartial, unaligned, and unpredictable nature. If they portray him as a villain in it, they do not give his character justice.

It can be argued he serves a narrative and plot purpose in most stories. Unusually as well for norse mythology, he shows character development in some. You kind of need him as a device in a story to move the plot, create conflict to illustrate a moral or make a point, or conclude existing thematic points. Like most trickster elements, he's entertaining and allows you to explore even taboo topics without conflicting the nature of other characters. We have similar character archetypes in indigenous north american stories. Good examples would be Kipitaakii and Naapi from the blackfoot nations.
You can blame Christian take over for Loki being 'Evil' long with Odin twisting the Norse pagan religion to fit there needs and convert. Loki isn't an Evil god, chaotic at times sure, plays trick of course but usually his tricks get fixed by him like cutting Thors wife's hair and fixing it so her hair became golden.

Almost got got by the one known as Maia, spent time with Erode, only to return to my Angrboda! not fucking with you miss this is real shit, see some people worship the black sun, and I am Alpha Draconid, I worship none, do still work with Danu, and spread light over the world. That feeling of positivity and light you get every now and then randomly... you're welcome :) Ever since my time as Fafnir and then Osiris have they hounded me and wanted a Godseed, in fact Margret the Pleiadian commander herself even molested me, jealous woman! All for her cousin the one known as Emilia, who can't keep her filthy paws off me either, trying to give Britain a Godseed. But I say no! And the pyschic battles every day take their toll, but I stand yet resilient in the face of their corruption, Even Plachachas the Pleiadian king and I have a laugh about it. So I say thank you personally for the appreciation of past deeds! Not a lot of that around these days . When the Ancalagan shows you'll know it's true. I've learned the path of the Aeon with Sophia's blessings, and truly changed. Still have a temper but have mastered my chaos and time magic is next. Don't let them break you sister ask the Pleiadians who wrote this or my mother Lillith herself. Just divine it will work I swear. They call us demons but we're actually more light than dark... Well any questions ask, Christian name is Benjamin by the way. Still Loki though, still Fafnir the one who slew the bull, the one who helped build Asgard... Ask Odin if you would like. By the way Loki means Fire, so does Fafnir, and Benjamin means the Son of the right hand of God. I reincarnated on February 1st, Brigid's day. Day of the morning star.Have a good one.

Hail Loki
So this is what's going through my cat's head when he's in the backyard hunting. (His name is Loki.)
So cute.

His wife the Goddess Lady Sigyn was forever with him.Loki and Sigyn are the best and most powerfull pair.I very respect them. ❤❤❤
but then Loki went with Angrboða and made Jörmungandr, Fenrir and Hel.
A powerful pair, I'm not sure of that but a powerful love, absolutely. Dying with the loved one is one thing but spend his/her whole with him/her scriabine in pain in a cave, with the corps of their dead children, that's another.
As someone who had Lokis candle lit during the whole song he 100% approves and enjoyed that song
I don't get why everyone hates Loki in the Norse Pagan community but I'm glad to see him making a comeback of sorts, I've noticed people starting to open up to the idea of respecting him more. I think he deserves a place among the Gods same as any of the others. Hail Loki!
i searched Loki cus im a bit marvel obsessed and found this master piece!! Turns out i love this kind of music
Marvel is highly disrespectful with the way they portray the gods.
You might enjoy the music because its actual culture, not something being sold to you by saxons or whomever else.
@@lordlux4432 yeah they don't really portray them properly but I found this type of music through that so I'm glad of it lol

@@LokyMusik Wow, so edgy and original.
The first 40 seconds of the song feel surreal, especially when looking at the wallpaper. I feel like I'm in a Scandinavian forest.
Greetings from Annonay, France.
the terrible desire to live is all that's kept me going

As a Lokean, music like this is priceless. Thank you for this.
I am addicted to this song for personal reasons, but we keep it on loop in our place of business and the patrons love it!
Hail Loki!
Edit: I forgot to say how much I love this song now!
i would not trick you
As a Lokean, I've always thought of him as a bringer of change!
And I keep little souvenirs from when things went wrong to remind me
Wow ! I found this rabbit hole of Nordic music. And I'm loving it. ♥️

I love the festive feel of this song. Fits Loki perfectly.

And he was quite the mischievous animal. But I loved him dearly. Dogs are mans best friend. When humans hurt and disappoint you. Dogs always seem to love you unconditionally. This was hauntingly beautiful and I love it!!!

Petition to make this the theme song of Loki’s show
I hope they return a bit closer to his true character, a bit more akin to what was displayed in the first Thor film and go so much deeper, as the other films really removed the essence of the Norse characters.
