- After spending our honeymoon in Bora Bora, French Polynesia, we knew that the Maldives islands also had to be at the top of our travel bucket list. Our love for tropical and exotic islands surely inspired us to dream big and work towards making our way to this dreamy, luxurious place. Well, dreams do come true! We were blessed to have spent eight glorious days in Sun Aqua Vilu Reef, a resort with extensive coral reefs, an unparalleled underwater world, white sand beach, overwater bungalows, and first-rate hospitality that truly left us in awe. Wouldn't mind going back to Mexico and hopefully one of our future cruises will take us to Turks and Caicos Islands.
The bad thing with living in Sweden is that every place I wanna go to is so far away. Where do you live?
Smart of you to do the editing during the flights. I wish I had done that before we got our baby (now we don't have time during the flights and we don't have space for a lap top in our carry on). Still have material from Mauritius, Mallorca, the Azores and five cruises to edit.
I learned some easy but smart technics on how to use my drone and Osmo+ from your clips :-)

Gorgeous video. Are drones allowed in maldives? Every forum i go to says most resorts have banned there and also other tourists absolutely hate drones flying around. Did you have to take special permission? Could you give me some info since me and my wife are planning a visit there soon. Much appreciated and thank you in advance :)

It depends usually 300-1500. 1500 for that area at the end of the bungalow with a pool.

Yes it is our favorite resort right now. We want to visit Sri Lanka for two weeks and then spend a week in the Maldives. But I read in the guidelines that drones are unfortunately prohibited. How did you get the permission?
I got permission through the management because I was making a content for them. They might let you fly on the sandbar area.
You can fly drone in nawtiless beach I know because I worked here

What’s the clearest waters you’ve ever seen? Maldives looks perfectly clear. To me the Bahamas is more clear than at Mexico or Brazil. I’m always in pursuit of the water bottle type clear waters lol

I would recommend you to try Tahiti, Maldives, Exuma, Turks and Caicos, and Grand Cayman for blue and clear water. Good luck!

Thank you ExtraKimB. We live in California. We are closer in the Caribbean, French Polynesia and Hawaii but far from Maldives, Mauritius, Mallorca. We are planning to go to Mauritius this year. How did you like your trip in Mauritius? Yes, it is hard to edit, we are trying to travel 2 years more then maybe start trying to have a child.

Just got back home from a Caribbean cruise on Harmony Of The Seas. Ended up booking a cruise to Hawaii a couple of days before we left Sweden for Harmony. Any tips on things to do?
