Everyone saw this and went straight to the Falcons. 24 year old with kangaroo ACL sitting behind Cousins and his $180M contract until he is 28. The only people who think this is a good situation are homers in denial. People point to Love forgetting he was 21 when drafted.

Furthermore, Skoronski was dealing with a burst appendix his rookie year with the worst left tackle and center around him. Considering how good he looked removed from the burst appendix down the stretch, and Latham has Skoronski alone beside him, I wouldn't sweat it too much.

Yeah, many people had him going to Jacksonville. We needed a receiver after losing Ridley and our receivers aren't getting any younger.
Agreed. And if I am not mistaken, a lot of snaps opened up, now that Ridley is gone. He might not be a day 1 starter, but he will still get plenty of opportunities in his rookie season.

I don’t think any situation for an Offensive Tackle can be a bad one playing time wise because they obviously think highly of you to draft you in the 1st, now you can actually develop and learn with less pressure

Christian Kirk's great but not a superstar like Lamb, Jettas, Reek, or Chase. I think Brian Thomas Jr has the potential to reach that type of stardom, and that would be amazing for Lawrence.
They talked about Ja'Lynn Polk being in a horrific situation by being picked by the Patriots, but the same thing could be said for Drake Maye. Aside from Onwenu at right tackle and David Andrews at center, the Patriots whole offensive line is still a huge question mark, and they mentioned how the Patriots had the worst receiver room in the NFL in 2023. Same thing could be said about the Patriots offensive line.
Unpopular opinion: Michael Penix, Jr. will be the starter for Atlanta in 2025. Cousins will get traded during that offseason to Vegas. Penix gets to become acclimated to the NFL life without the pressure of also being the stater. He's in the Patrick Mahomes situation. You heard it here first.
The 49ers already have Deebo, and Aiyuk. TPS is right in this regard, because they had players like JPJ, Cooper Dejean, Sweat, and others that were bigger needs then a receiver. That was a waste of a 1st round pick.
That’s because they know long term they can’t keep everybody. Debo has rumors of being traded. Same with ayiuk. Niners are trying to get him ready by year 2. They don’t need much defensive help. Might as well invest in offense. Maybe OL should have been drafted over him. But I’m sure it was whoever was there.

The Jags hate is unreal. To exclude the Jags from the list of “Playoff Contending Teams” is an absolute disgrace, considering they beat the aforementioned Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers last year, and kept it pretty close to Kansas City last year, and in the playoffs in 2022.
Second video I’ve found recently where you all clearly didn’t do your research, especially on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Aside from BTJ, our receiving core consists of Kirk, Davis, Engram at TE, Devin Duvernay and Parker Washington, though, they’ll most likely be Special Teams. Jags lost Ridley and Zay, so what else were they going to do?
Kirk seems to be the Go-To, but he’s best as a slot receiver. Engram (and Etienne, to a certain extent) are good for underneath, while Davis and Thomas Jr., would be the big-bodied Deep-Threats in the receiving core. A 5 minute Google Search could’ve told you all that. You all are seriously starting to losing credibility. I do not hit the dislike button too often on TH-cam, but this take is one of the worst I’ve ever heard.
1. All teams have most of their playbooks with a three receiver set, so Pearsall and Thomas Jr. can easily be used in their playbooks. 2 Mims got drafted to develop and play when ready/Trent Brown has an injury history 3. Kneeland is drafted for rotation/depth because it’s a risk having Parsons and Lawrence playing all the edge snaps while being healthy 4. The Cardinals have one of the worst defensive lines…why wouldn’t they draft Robinson who is a hybrid?? 5. Titans needed OT, they got the best on their board…so what if he’s on a bad team..ask Joe Thomas if he flourished on the Browns 6. Lloyd is a long term back because both Dillon and Jacobs are on one year deals and RBs get injured the most so he’ll get a steady rotation anyways

I think the titans oline this year will be mediocre at worst. They got Bill Callahan (best oline coach of all time) this offseason. Latham learning from him at LT, LG is also improving with better coaching and a young player, signed a new center, RG play was decent last year and still have him, and RT is the biggest question
I don't know why but I gotta feeling Kirk is gonna end up getting another big payday before he retires. He's a legend when it comes to getting paid.

Do your homework before you report. If you had, you would know Hall WANTED to be in Cleveland. He was born and raised there and wants to raise his son there. Some players aren't always about the greenbacks or playing time.
I can see why SF 49ers selected a WR because DeBo is injury prone and tend to disappear in big games, main reason they loss to Chiefs in SB.
Falcons liked what they saw in Penix. Further Cousins can get hurt and why is it considered a bad situation for Penix to LEARN before being thrown in the fire. I think it is a decent pick and no guarantee Cousins will last 4 seasons....
How is a horrific situatiin, a situation where you sit behind an above average QB to learn and earn up to 10 million a year. No wear and tear on bdoy and if he is a bust he gets 3 or more free salary years. Only rookie contract affected. Wish him good luck.

Penix will be fine. Cousins will be a Falcons for two years which will allow Penix body to get healthy and learn the offense. Cousins is making $100M for two years so he will be ok.

kinda a smart move from the falcons. let penix study under kirk learn the system for the 1rst year or 2 than make him the starter. or did everyone forget arron rodgers sat behind farve for like 2 years?
The difference is Rodger’s was 21 when drafted. He started his first nfl game when he was younger then penix is now. They have Kirk for 4 years all guaranteed. So penix will be starting at 26 at the absolute earliest and still owe 2 years for Kirk. They could’ve waited a year for a younger guy coming out next year that’s a project

Honestly penix will thrive off of this, 2 years behind kirk and that offense is the worst thing ab it?. It's the process any young qb could wish for.
Right however Kirk is guaranteed for 4 years and Penix is 24. By time that contract is up he’ll be 28 and never starting a season yet. Unless Kirk’s production declines by then or he’s shaky off of the injury, then Penix won’t see the field for a long time. I understand the “sit behind and develop” mentality but it doesn’t make sense with Penix who’s ready to start now
