@@andre9302 Aye but the LC500 is not to be touted as a value performance machine. If you just wanted its numbers youd see an IS500 for half the cost.
It is moreso aligned with the grand touring class, an S class/Continental GT bastard if you will.
Despite being seen as outdated with underwhelming numbers, the YT reviewers always seem to agree upon it in a positive, "it is underrated" sort of light. Naturally, this is just a niche bracket few enthusiasts funk around.

how did you get your ambient lighting to stay on while driving?
Where did you get the carbon fiber roof pieces? I have the E6 carbon stuff for the tail lights but can't find the roof pieces.
Are they able to access the TCU and modify the gear ratios? If they can change the shift times for shorter gearing that would be huge the LC
Yes, TunedbyLoi can adjust shift logic if requested
Gear ratios are physical so you cannot shorten or elongate. But you can make it more responsive (throttle response) and richening the mixture at low rpm and leaning more as revs rise to synchronize better with camshaft profiles. But since it has tall gearing, sc would give more bottom end and twin turbo’ing would just be balls to the walls. The SC would enhance for better responsiveness at low end and twins would start to get on supercar level. Either way… do something as this is a good platform for the Tony Stark/Bruce Wayne type man.
Does anyone know how to keep the ambient lights on while the car is in drive? Seen a couple people online that figured out how to do it but no tutorials 😭 that, along with more horsepower is the only thing this car needs to be perfect

I would like to know what it is you did to get the ambient lighting to stay on while driving .. Aldo what about letting us know the before and after the tune hp rating .. Also how much was the tune and whats the name of it. Also kindly list any performance upgrades that throw no codes like an air intake .. or how to keep the valve open as tho it is in Sprt plus all the time .
TunedbyLoi is the tuner - he's doing big things in the Lexus community. Air intake probably won't throw a code, but there are no gains from the boost logic one. Catback exhaust won't throw a code and a tune won't either. Once you start messing with O2 sensors (headers), that's where you'll get a CEL.

Is there an update to how well and tuneable this car is? Also is it possible to tune the shift ratio? 10spd mated to the 5.0 is I guess better than the shitty 8spd in the rcf and gsf but those gears are waaaay to damn long
Yup, custom tuning possibilities are great - TunedByLoi can get you taken care of for ECU and TCU tuning.

This car car probably take 1000 to 2000 hp no joke, it's a Japanese well build engine and if a 2.6 v6 can take 1000hp without blowing up imagine for this incredible 5.0 V8.... I want to see !!!!
….no these don’t go much past 700-800 max effort and they have issues at that power level .

nah, not without forced induction. I think safely we could probably do about 500-600whp without destroying the motor.

Intake won't do anything, at least not the boostlogic one. Exhaust definitely will. Headers will make the biggest difference. Just a tune will also show some decent gains.

Would this slightly increase the top speed and are the shifts different or the same?
Shifts can be adjusted but I’m keeping my TCU stock for now. Not sure about top speed though. That’s a question for TunedbyLoi

Theoretically. Boostlogic is definitely excited for their supercharger to move forward in development due to this
@Cartune Netwerk, excuse me but do you happen to know when the folks at Boostlogic plan on releasing their mythical supercharger kit? It has been over three years now since they've mentioned the kit on their website and they haven't updated it since then. It still says "coming soon".
@@meowchat6175 I believe they were stuck because nobody had cracked the ecu until now. They commented on my fb post saying “time to finish our supercharger”. They’re working with Loi to outsource some tuning as well, so hopefully we’ll hear something about development progress soon 🤞🏽

Excellent move. Taking a car that the finest engineers and designers in the world took years to develop and modifying it so it is faster is brilliant. Why not put a twin turbo on the car or better yet...pull out the engine and drop in something with 800 horsepower? Everyone knows 0-60 in just over 4 seconds is really slow. You need a car that does it in around 1.8 seconds. You shouldn't be happy with your beautiful LC 500 until you turn it into the car you always thought it should be. Once you do that, everyone you share the public roads with will "ooh and ah" at what you've done. They'll say..."there goes a really cool car". Pretty darn spiffy.
RR racing makes a super charger for the RCF and GSF. They never made one for the LC because no one wanted to put in effort to crack the ECU so maybe they will make one. The supercharger with a tune gave those cars between 560HP to 700HP+ depending on which version you get and if your running 91/93 octane or E85.
@@paladin3116 Hopefully they make a supercharger kit for it maybe in the future. They still cant make a supercharger for the LC even after this tune came out. They said it on a comment on the RR Racing channel. The LC with an extra 90HP from a supercharger would be great
