Thank you Joel. I work on a job.A lot people at work go out and do drugs on break. I’m a recovering Addict. I’m 15 years clean. I walk away from them. I go to work do my job. I stayed out trouble.One of the ladies started yelling at me for no reason. I’m a old kick boxer cage fighter and I just back away. I do get into arguments and battles that don’t matter. I have several grandchildren and I pray for them.. I thank you Jesus for saving my life.each and every day
God has a plan for your life.

Today is September 11, 2021 10am. Last night at about 9:30pm I was taking a shower and the exact thing I told myself while praying under the shower: "God is preparing my table". This year I learned to acknowledge the role of enemies and learned to say: thank you for enemies Lord, because without them i will not be this closer to you and strong person.
I had gotten bullied in school so i felt like god did not love me to put me in so much pain my enemies were so rude and mean and said awful things to me and said lies about me but i remember that god will use my enemies for the great and good for me and i would not be here where i am happy no pain no lies so thank you god for using my enemies for my great and good and i thank god for what he did for me to use my critic's for the great and good Amen.
When the enemies attack, thank your Heavenly Father for your strength and peace. This is where he is closest to you!

It's amazing how people are so quick to forget if the pandemic of 2020;taught them any lessons. It's not just about getting back to work and opening businesses again. What about people, love, trust, freedom, empathy, the intangibles, not the material stuff. We got a bunch of stuff. It's people loving people now. Living them for today because tomorrow is promised to no one.

Just sadly, he is not preaching the Bible here. He is really bringing an encouraging pep talk and only ever sparingly mentioning something out of the Bible to highlight his message, irrespective of the context of the Bible passage he's referring to or what its actual message is.
Nothing wrong with this talk, but this is not a sermon or preaching of the Word and Joel is not assuming the role of a pastor here (according to standards set in the Bible), but of a motivational speaker.
If this is the only type of message this congregation regularly receives, they will not grow into mature believers that really know the Word of God. 😔

I have a friend who has a TH-cam channel for makeup and fashion..she's not an attractive girl and always gets attacked for trying to be a makeup artist when she doesn't exactly have the right face for it..so people started attacking her so badly in the comment section and posting her vids to have others laugh at her..all this hate made her famous that she actually went on TV and now has a 100,000 followers when she only had a couple of 1000s months before..all her enemies and all the hate created her success and I'm so happy for her because she's a beautiful sweet person and deserves nothing less than what she has accomplished

Your frenemies can be your biggest blessing that is the truth. I had a friend who i uplift and give encouragement too i always celebrate her even when im having low moments i always compliment her. She never does anything back of what i done for her out of the kindness of my heart. Even though she is self centered and all about herself i still pray for her but even when she was kicking me during my tough times god has defineately blessed me ten times over and im so thankful.

This is my first time listening to Joel Osteen. I am so blessed by his messages and I dont find anything wrong. But it is becasue of the Joel Osteen haters that said all these bad things that made me curious to search him on TH-cam. I listen to his message everyday and I am blessed and do not regret it at all!!!

This is very true! Had I not been disrespected /neglected by my prior supervisor, I wouldn't be where I'm now. When I requested for time off, my sup was not approving it for two months. When I call out for sick, I was getting oral warning. If any coworker is out, I've to do all their jobs while mine is piling up but no one was doing mine in my absence.
Finally, that situations stir me up and look for other opportunity that make me to land on a nice and well paying job with flexible schedule.
Doing my co-workers job gave me a solid experience for my career path. My sup's repeated rejection for approving my time off, make me to think for other opportunities.
God knows how to take us to our best destiney!

Amen!! I am a direct witness to this. I had a former nursing supervisor who tried to turn up the heat on me out of no where. I worked for this facility as an agency nurse for a while. I loved my patients, my coworkers, great amount of loyalty and a hard worker. Suddenly I had some issues I had to handle and needed to come in late. I kindly contacted her to let her know I would have to come in a couple hours late. She responded back in attack mode and said a lot of things to me to attempt to belittle my character. This supervisor was so mad she told me not to even come into work today, which also made my coworkers work short. Afterwards I felt unappreciated and just sad. The Holy Spirit reminded that the Lord will make your enemy your footstool, so that gave me a little peace. About an hour later I received a call from a potential employer where I had interviewed with a really wanted the position. I was offered a full time position with an awesome increase in pay, great benefits and better hours. Since I was told not to come to work that day, that allowed me to start my pre employment process that same day!!! I felt extremely blessed and was overwhelmed with joy with this divine timing 😇🙋 It felt so great to be set free from affliction at work, giving a two weeks notice the next day!
