Same, I personally prefer African music sang in native language because it sounds more authentic and it makes me feel happy even though I may not understand what’s been said but I always research the English lyrics to get more in depth.
I find that a lot of African artists try to be someone they’re not and I cringe when they use a fake American or English accent even though they weren’t raised in those countries. As someone who was raised in England from the age of 6 and now 20, I love feeling connected to Africa through African music.

I am not African (Jamaican and Portuguese) and I don’t speak the language but I am certainly in love. This song, this video and these visuals are giving me everything ❤️
As long as you are a black man (no matter where you are born), you are an African! Remember (study history), as the "majority" of Africans were (stolen. brainwashed) forced to go all over the world, especially Latin and South America: Portugal (Spain), Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Columbia, Brazil, etc., and only a few were taken to America and the Caribbean.
Well Jamaicans are of Africa decent so u are practically one if us
You are a black man saying you are not African smh 🤦♀️

How amazing is it when a Beninese and Nigerian come together to celebrate the Maasai culture in Kenya ... Indeed the future is One Africa!
They are both Yorubas.
Naija guy-the Yorubas in Benin,Ghana,Togo,CIV are originally South West of Nigeria which is Oduduwa.

@@abiodunoseni6899 just assume she ain't a native of either of those countries that's why she referred to them by nationality. This tribal thing is really pulling Africa back though it was only a problem in Kenya but man Nigerians you obsessed with tribal affiliations.

Ms Angelique's voice is so beautifully hypnotic I could listen to her all day. Thank you Ms. Yemi for this collaboration which is so on point.
