20年前日本的某个出版社出版了叫《香港电影的广东话》的教材。主要内容是电影的概要、名镜头的台词（广东话）、耶鲁粤语拼音、单词解释、语法解释、关于香港电影/香港演员的专栏。这个教材非常好，内容有趣，可以学自然的广东话，但是已经绝版了，现在还是容易买到，我希望这样的教材会更多。

Another great resource for intermediate (and up) learners:
MtzCherry TH-cam channel. Lots of vlogs with canto subs. She speaks faster than for example Cantonese w Brittany so good for someone who would like something more challenging but still needs the subs to easily look up new words etc :)
I have most of these books but I'm finding Clozemaster app and lessons on italki help the most so far.
I will give it a try! And yes, nothing beats a real teacher 😀

I have been watching Cantonese with Brittany's videos (that's where I found your channel). I found her intermediate videos (and some of her beginner videos) helpful at getting me to speak less Chinglish (Chinese with English words) and more-fluent Cantonese
Your Cantonese videos are also very helpful today, especially the highlighting of certain important words.

Yale is better bcos the mark is intuitive. Jyutping number isnot. Also with the number jyutping is not presentable although as phonetics is fine. For alternativ romanized writing yale is better
同廣東話冇關係，最近我買咗台山話教材，湖南电子音像出版社出版的《台山话概论》。呢本書好好，裡面有發音同埋声调。語法都說明得又簡單又清楚。
喺日本冇接觸台山話嘅機會。如果我唔知道你，就唔知道一門好靚嘅語言：台山話。

My Chinese is good , how do I improve my English to next level ?
Hi, I'm not sure if you're a native Cantonese speaker or (as you live in NY), was brought up with English first.
Nevertheless, your Cantonese pronounciation is perfect and you are a good role model for those who want to learn Cantonese.
HOWEVER .....
I have noticed there's a lack of consistency in your pronounciation in the word me (我).
It SHOULD be pronounced "ngor" (and you have done) but you have also pronounced it "or".
This is commonly termed as lazy Cantonese and a lot of people fall into this trap. Apparently it started in the 60s and 70s, where even celebrities mis-pronouce words, so viewers follow suit.
I understand the "ng" sound is difficult for westerners to say but if one wants to learn anything, they should go full steam ahead and learn it properly.
Another example of "lazy Cantonese" are words that begin with the letters "gw", (國 - country). The proper way to say this is "gwok" but you will hear many simply say "gok".
There is no explanation other than laziness because the context of the sentence will ensure there's no ambiguity.
Contrastingly nobody would say "gei" (雞 - chicken) when they actually mean to say "gwei" (龜 - tortoise) because there is ambiguity here.

This is such a great video! Have you watched or considered watching Cantonese language tv dramas to improve your Cantonese? If so, what is your favorite TVB/HK drama? Mine is “Can’t Buy Me Love” which has Charmaine Sheh and Moses Chan in the main roles. What do you think of using Mango Languages to learn Cantonese? They offer a Cantonese course and it may be free if a public library offers its. Sorry if I have so many questions, I’m just so excited that you posted a nice video. Love your channel 😊
Haha that's very sweet of you! HK drama was definitely my first exposure to Cantonese. My favorites were the ones with Dayo Wong, and he also has one with Charmaine Sheh called "You're hired".

most of these books have only jyut ping or yale but no chinese characters, i feel like its rly important to learn reading as it helps u get to a high level better
It is very important to learn to read and write! Also most, if not all of the books I recommended, have both Chinese and romanizations (either Jyutping and Yale). Hope that helps to clarify!
