- Hey my loves, did a quick Home Decor DIY video for you guys... I wanted to create a boho wall hanging. I hope you guys love it as much as I do and stay tune for my thrift haul coming up next week.

Great to see Macrame being taken to the next level here and appreciated again. It was a big thing, back in the day but you can find them in the thrift store for awhile about 3 years ago, but not seeing them as much. I guess the trend is now going back to the natural hippy chic essence and this is definitely part of it. This would make a fantastic belt, just saying. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
Use a paperclip like a hook. Run it through the bead, hook the rope, pull through. May still take a little wiggle if it's tight, but helps speed the process a bit! Nice project!

Amazing. I always use my trusty “tape” needle when doing things like this. I wrap the end of the string with a piece of tap, wrapping the end into a point. Works every time. Save those fingers! Thx!

This is absolutely gorgeous!
Tip: If you tightly wind a thin piece of tape to the ends of the strings, you don't have to fight so hard to get the string through the beads. ❤

Tip: using a cross stitch needle may have helped pull the larger rope through the holes.

I tightly wrap a piece of tape around the ends of my cord, like the end of a boot lace to thread my beads, works a treat!

I love your creativity so much. Next time, get a collapsible needle from the craft store or if you can't find one big enough you can even use a bent wire or necklace wire in half and connect the cord to pass it through the bead holes, it will save your hands and prevent frustration 😊
I've had the same problem with small holes. I took some tape, wrapped it around the ends, into a point. Worked so well.

What really helps is to take a piece of iron string (I don't know if you call it that way in english...) fold it in two, put the robe between it en pull the piece of iron wire (is it wire??🤣) through the hole of the bead and you can easily pull the iron wire/string... through the hole, the robe easily comes with it!

A Round file inserted in the bead holes and twisted can make holes bigger. Also a lot of work though.

I ❤️made this. I cheated a bit, I tied fall natural wooden beaded garland together from hobby lobby. It looks awesome but my tassels are not as full as yours 😐but I love it. Thanks for the inspiration love your channel

So beautiful. With the rope you could put tape or glue on the end to give it structure to push it thru the beads. Love it!

The final result was nice enough, but if you learn a few very simple macramé knots, it would have been so much easier and with a little more polished results.
Also, when you’re having trouble threading the beads on (what a pain in the butt! lol) I find the most helpful tool to use is either the pick I got with my Silhouette for weeding vinyl, out a dental pick from the Dollar Tree (it’s plastic with metal picks on each end, comes with a toothbrush, tongue scraper and mirror)
I think this sounded WAY more critical/judgy than I intended; I liked the final product!

Love that! You should try doing some DIY's using vintage chenille bedspread fabric, I think you would like it. They tear into strips easily too.
