    dis is a beautiful display of the generosity and love not to mention the pride in our Samoan customs and traditions...Love videos that display things...it depicts the love one has for others as a community and as a culture...and also the giving and receiving and giving back because they don't care what they get back...just that they have given all that they could...the way it should be...lovely lovely video of our homeland...we need more videos like dis...malo faafetai le lotonu'u ma le upload

    Some reason I ended up watching this video, and this exactly what I wanted to learn when I was young. Shame my family took me overseas but my heart always stay with the traditional way of a girl, to learn more of who I am and where I came from.

    Thank you, yes I agree, all the dancing, & noise making is showing all parts of we are happy to give what we have & what we can to help..Its amazing how easily we can forget our culture & traditions, especially for us Samoans who live outside our Samoan homeland, we don't realize how important and amazing our culture is until you actually participate and sit and observe & listen to all the things they do, & for me I enjoy & loved it, it was an amazing & great experience i will never forget.

    Nice Video! Nice exchange in the Laugas. Didnt really like the Alo talked to Le Tufuga. Sounded abit cocky and rude. Fair enough Le Tufuga was struggling at times, but it is not a reason to start talking to someone. I liked the way Le Tufuga calmly responded to some of Alos banter. I love listening to Laugas.

      It is a formal gift presentation at the opening of a significant building in a village, normally a church. Each family is led in procession by a taupou and huge fine mat.

    • @L3a98
      @L3a98 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      This is not a taualuga. A ta’alolo requires the taupou to lead the procession of the village holding a Nifo oti, hence the reason she doesn’t do much with her hands as you would with a taualuga.
