  • In this video I created the device that opens magnetic lock when the simple maze puzzle is solved. The idea came to me when I was thinking of creating an escape room.
Those plans were never realised but I thought I would build a prototype anyway.
This project is bases on a fixed small maze displayed on the 8x8 LED matrix.
I came up with the way to store the maze layout definition in Arduino Code.
I will have a follow up video where I would use it to generate larger mazes using existing algorithms to do it.
    NOTE!!!!
Error has been reported to me by Stefano

@marios_ideas 8:41 the LED at the top has the wire coming from D5 connected in the wrong place, it must go to the Anode. The LED on the right has the wire coming from D4 also connected incorrectly and goes to the Anode.
The code and a list of components can be found here:

The wiring diagram is wrong in some places. Was this done intentionally or is it just a distraction? The STL file of the labyrinth, you haven't published it?

Can you point to the exact timestamp in the video. It is an old one and it is possible that I made a mistake. So the diagram in the presentation is different then the actual wired circuit? If I did I would like to add a comment in the description of the video.
