- A major manhunt is underway in northern France for Mohamed Amra, also known as "The Fly," who escaped from a prison van after a violent ambush killed two prison guards while seriously injuring three others.
It marks the first fatal attack on prison staff in France in more than three decades, causing guards to temporarily walk out in protest. Mike Armstrong explains what's known about Amra and shows you how the incident unfolded.

Wth, the report fails to provide any info on who this guy was.
He's a member of a criminal narco organisation in Marseille, he 's convicted to have kidnapp and murder a big dealer in France and murder attempt on another in Spain.
How in the world is such a dangerous customer being transported to and from court FIFTY MINUTES between them? Before the Baader-Meinhof gang were tried in the 1970s, a special prison was built to accommodate the court house itself so there was ZERO chance of such an occurrence like this.
And someone had to deliver the infor. that this remote court and the trip were going to happen, in a clearly marked van. Why not three vans, no one knows which van this "fly guy" is in?? just makes sense to be extra cautious, then CHANGE your route, have backup noticing when you leave court if anyone is FOLLOWING you.
Let’s be honest, someone in the police force tip the criminals. How the hell the criminals finds out their schedule.

How did they know his route and the timing? The prison guards should be looking at each other- they obviously have rats in the ranks who sold the info to the gang.
That driver had zero environmental awareness. What did he think was going to happen after a car rammed him like that! I would have pushed on the accelerator immediately, the van would have pushed the black car out of the way and I would have fled. They wouldn't have shot randomly at the van not knowing where Mohammed was in it precisely.
