I’ve been watching too many of your videos. I accidentally clicked on another plumbers video and it was so bad I had to keep watching it. The worrying part is I kept telling him the mistakes he was making and when he didn’t use disinfectant I had to have a headache tablet and a lie down.
@@jetter1jem955 About 20 years ago in my neck of the woods, a technician went into a sewer tank to unplug a line. A foreman turned on a pump and sent raw sewage into the tank. The technician got a lungful of hydrogen sulfide and immediately collapsed. Two more men entered the tank and immediately collapsed. Two more guys managed to pull the 3rd guy out, but the first two were already dead. The 3rd guy sustained permanent lung damage. After an investigation, it seems no safety guidelines were being followed, no safety equipment was available to anyone and no training had been done. So: "bull shit procedures"? Not when you're dealing with something as deadly as hydrogen sulfide. Don't believe me? Google "far west sewer deaths"
@@drider43 yup. It’s a common issue on farms too with slurry tanks and blockages. You raise a very salient point. I’ll go look at the story you mention. Jeez. The families of the people who died got $150,000 restitution. Guess that Yuma golf course had the Judge as a member or something ……..
Ive sat in on top of a tank for 4 days doing nothing because they didn’t have any gear, every man and his dog was screaming , but you can get fucked you think I’m going in.
No gas check, no harness, rescue line/ tripod ? Hard hat is a miniscule nod to safety. Don't assume those ladder rungs are safe.Hope the HSE aren't subscribers to your channel.
Goin down that deep mate gas detector better to be safe than sorry a know we all do it but you didn’t even have life line on say somethin happened to you and Andy jumped in who helpin who then keep up the good work dough
That drain looks better built than most new-build homes!

Just short of public flogging where I am for going down there without atmosphere testing! Brave or stupid? Sod the job - be safe!!
At the very first, it looked like a scene out of the movie "Skeleton Key", ha!
Do not forget your and crumpets after each job, you blokes.
"My little pea head will be too small for you man head"
You mean he has a bigger helmet?
haha, great to see people having fun at work!!
At least this one didn't need to sanitise the splash back area. Saved some money there.
Looks like some millionaires gaffe, hope they gave ya a nice big tip 🙂

Excellent work! Why dont you clear the 3rd hole?

What pressure do you guys run?
3000 psi 👍👍
And I thought our 7ft deep manhole was a deep one.
I've been down a 50 foot one before. We had guys working a sinkhole and those holes were 100 feet deep.
