I visited Dr Heleniak for sedation dentistry. He is located about 45 minutes from downtown Philadelphia but it was worth the trip because he is really good. I went to sleep and woke up about two hours later with all my dental work done. It was wonderful.
You won me over! I have always been apprehensive over visiting the dentist. You method for sedation completely worked. My anxiety was eliminated and the procedure went by so fast. Not that I want to have to come see you again too soon. But when I do need more dental work--YOU are the dental practice I will be visiting.
People come from all over to see this sedation dentist in the philadelphia area. One person even came all the way from Europe so he must be pretty a pretty good sedation dentist.
The best part of going to a sedation dentist is not remembering a single thing he does to you, You are in a twilight sleep the whole time. No pain, no memory, just great teeth.
Sedation dentistry is probably a good solution for me because I have completely avoided going to the dentist for years now. I am terrified. I live on the main line of phila. so I don't think this dentist is too far away.
I’m terrified of both being sedated and going to the dentist, so I’m screwed either way unless there’s a way to deliver local anesthetic with very little to no pain or applying the sedatives after I happened to take a nap (naturally/on my own). It would also be great if I was able to get anti-anxiety drugs that won’t sedate me or have sedative side effects. Lastly, I’ll more likely to be cooperative if it’s guaranteed that I wouldn’t remember being put to sleep let alone not remembering sitting in the chair to do pre-op precautions, but I’m asking for too much and impossible stuff so that’s why going to the dentist is tricky for me

If someone is willing to travel from England to see this sedation dentist he must have a great reputation.

This sounds right for me, but I am 5 month pregnant right now. Can this be done while I am pregnant? Or should I wait?
I'm just curious regarding the sedation procedure. Will I be able to drive home when finished or will I need someone to come pick me up?
Steve Silverstine hey! I know this is an old comment but no you can’t drive after being sedated with Triazolam
