Yeah. John is so amazing. My wife and I happen to be his biggest Homeless Fans. He has a foundation called the JBJ soul foundation in Jersey and he saved our hungry asses for a few nights in Jersey when my family kicked us out of my Parents house in Rockaway Beach. Thank you Jon from the bottom of our hearts.
You have a phone. Sell it and make some money. Use it to buy yourself food for the next month. Meanwhile go to the bank and take a loan. Go to a crappy/cheap hotel and rent a room. Using the loan money. After you get the room in the hotel, find a job. Even a crappy job like working at McDonald's or something. Work the graveyard shift. With the money you get pay back the bank and keep paying for that room and for some food and water for you and your wife. When you've done all that, you gotta go study. For that, take another loan from the bank. Go study something that will get you a better job. Tell your wife to get a job as well to help you pay back the bank while paying for the room, for food and for water. After you study and have a degree, get a well paying job and get a normal appartement/house.

Grew up listening to them (1984 baby) thanks to my step dad. I finally saw them live for the first time when I was 17 in Wolverhampton UK. The first time they ever played in that city. The most amazing atmosphere I’ve ever experienced. They are still on my daily Spotify playlist and I’ll always love them ❤

They never get tired to make more great songs. The feeling on a live concert is unbelievable. Everybody is totally happy and it is impressing when thousands and thousands of people sing the song together. It has something magic... Sadly I saw BJ only two times live here in Germany but I will never forget it. Now I am 61 and I can't walk well anymore and often I need a walker but when I am listening to their music it make me feel like dancing and jumping around... BJ is of course very well known here in Germany too but Germans are often kind of weird 😎. It often feels like they don't dare to come out of their shells and that they are going crazy 😜. I was never like that. What is wrong in showing positive emotions ? Even I can't move well it don't matter. I don't need to dance perfect I am enjoying music very loud in my car and BJ was and is always a great companion ✊✊✊🔥🔥🔥

I bought 7800 when it first came out . I was 13. I knew right then and there. We would be talking about them as on of the greats. What a great time to be a teen in the 80s. WOW TIME FLYS.......
I only ever saw them once . In 1984 opening for the Scorpions in Ft Myers Florida. Great show. At the end Jon pulled some girl on stage from the crowd & with a big smile she waved bye to her friends as he pulled her back stage. I only new them from Runaway at the time but they did a couple video's for there second album that we started to see a lot. Probably one of the last tours that they were the opener.
When I first heard the song " you give love a bad name", I was immediately hooked. No one in the rock n' roll industry can ever compete with Jon Bon Jovi.
Every time I try to take Def Leppard seriously they bore me as hell. Tried last week to watch a full show on TH-cam and damn! I only watched 5 or 6 songs. They never grew up musically, every time they started to play another song, was like the second version of the last one. Yeah, they have a couple catchy tunes, but can't listen to them more than 15 minutes.

Long before it hit the news, I would say how’d you know that. We was watching a live concert and she’d said he’s sick and I hope he’ll get some help. He did right after that concert. She was his number one fan the only thing I knew about them was Jon has beautiful lips and could 🎤 and married his High School sweetheart. She said Jon will make a song with Jennifer way before it happened. She had great insight , just one of many things she did well RIP 😇

I love this band with all my heart. David, Tico, Richie and Jon. But without one of them, there is no Bon Jovi. When Alec left, it was different, they were still a fairly young band and not as established with their public personas. Also,I guess one could say that Alec was "just" a bass player. Richie on the other hand, especially nowadays, is the face, heart and handwriting of the band as much as Jon is. And without him, it will never again be the Bon Jovi we love! Without him there is no Bon Jovi. Imagining myself at a concert without him being there breaks my heart.
Agreed. When I heard they were playing Slane Castle in Ireland earlier this year, I was dying to go, but then the realization that Richie wouldn't be there completely put me off. Bon Jovi isn't right without him. Jon and Richie are the front of the band. It just won't be the same anymore.
Where Bon Jovi is concerned there is no 'just a bassist', as those bass parts cut by Hugh McDonald made those songs. Take out the bass track and it's tepid rock with little soul. Hugh, Tico and Desmond Child are, in my opinion, the most responsible for the mega-success of BJ.

In some point you're right dude, i never heArd of bon jovi singing songs which touch social issues, about friendship, family, not even God or some events in history which shApe our humanity. Most of their songs are about women, break-ups and new found relationship. These kind of lyrical themes hinder their musical creativity giving the impression that they ars "corny". I dont know if my observation is right?

Look up Desmond Child. He wrote and co-wrote almost every Bon Jovi hit. I'm a big Bon Jovi fan, I just didn't realize he had help writing his songs.

I love this band with all my heart. David, Tico, Richie and Jon. But without one of them, there is no Bon Jovi. When Alec left, it was different, they were still a fairly young band and not as established with their public personas. Also,I guess one could say that Alec was "just" a bass player. Richie on the other hand, especially nowadays, is the face, heart and handwriting of the band as much as Jon is. And without him, it will never again be the Bon Jovi we love! Without him there is no Bon Jovi. Imagining myself at a concert without him being there breaks my heart.
Agreed. When I heard they were playing Slane Castle in Ireland earlier this year, I was dying to go, but then the realization that Richie wouldn't be there completely put me off. Bon Jovi isn't right without him. Jon and Richie are the front of the band. It just won't be the same anymore.

Where Bon Jovi is concerned there is no 'just a bassist', as those bass parts cut by Hugh McDonald made those songs. Take out the bass track and it's tepid rock with little soul. Hugh, Tico and Desmond Child are, in my opinion, the most responsible for the mega-success of BJ.
