Thank john you were able to keep thing in perspective from the word of the bible to me I'm heading to a low in my life i have a disability not sure where ly health is going to tke me ,house fire , fighting with insurance company, work place harassment, not sure about my job future been there 25yrs , wife uncertain about our marriage, she wants to leave i hope i can recognize when GOD speaks to me l've been fighting my whole life I'm so glad i know JESUS is in my heart

Slaves as we understand vs slaves in the bible are not the same. Slaves (bond servant) of the bible is an indentured servant, and there were timelines to their freedom. Slavery in the US and other countries is an abomination to God.
