must be an incredible feeling to see hands and feet flying at you differently than most human beings. hes so comfortable because hes had 300+ fights since he was a child. he has no fear in a fight. he can think clearly in the face of real and present danger. it is superhuman

@@unholylemonpledge9730 Thank you. I'm from Thailand.Thai Boxing has many steaks. Punch, kick, knees, everybody. It's not just a kick. But you kick other countries because you have weak spots on your legs.
The legs are a very important part of Thai boxing.We've been practicing since we were kids for years to get onstage.

@@unholylemonpledge9730 this may be the case in amateur boxing to reach such a high count, not in pro. Pros don't fight to the left and right, they only risk their health for money, that is far larger on average than in muay thai. I guess a tough competition, poverty and low income is what forcing mt fighters to start off early and fight as much as they can. They do have head damage as they tend to have less defense. If boxers were fighting with a little to no preparation in a condition as "they were" for a monthly or so next title fight ladder just to get some money for a food and rent, that would've been possible to get those 300 for some of 'em, whoever wasn't "spent" yet. Aka street brawl/underground thing that works on a bet system. Also boxing is far more ageing susceptible, not many big names went way past their prime into 40's by experience/technique. Usually they tend to quit, which is reasonable as the money is no more an issue and no one wants to be hurt and forced into a retirement with a health issues.

Rodtang is a true warrior. I had a feeling that his intention wasn’t to taunt the guy but to motivate him to fight harder for the belt. At the end of the day he just enjoys a good fight. What a champion.

U kind of have to wonder, u punch ur opponent in the face 50 times and he doesnt rly seem to care. And then punches u back 1 time and u fly backwards. A little difference in power between these 2.

doesnt seem to affect Tagir at all. Tagir could actually won this even if he's a newbie. Rodtang is just lucky the judges favored him
Those guys give and take severe shots. The spinning backfist was incredible, and Rodtang walked right through it.
As a Russian, I was rooting for Khalilov, but I've got nothing but respect for Rodtang -- man is a beast, taking severe shots head-on and still standing, that deserves respect!

Rodtang is a machine. At the end of the fight, his opponent is exhausted & he looks like he just got back from vacation. Fast, accurate, strategic & unrelenting. Mui Tai Terminator.

@@ba1732 it's not about the amount of punches landed. It's about ring generalship, overall dominance, effectiveness of punches and thus also damage of the punches, the state of the fighters and some other factors. Someone landing 40 punches can easily win a round vs someone landing 60 punches. Guess you're new to the sport or only watch casual, which is fine, that's why i explain to you. But Rodtang easily dominated and won this fight. Not close at all. He landed more and did much better in the other categories as well.

@@deyh5664 Rodtang failed multiple sweeps and didn't land a single significant hit. He also received multiple significant hits. This was Tagir's first pro fight and he managed all that against a MT legend and while being on the back foot. I'd say Rodtang should be happy he's made such fans of the judges to play favorites.

Never seen these two before. Rodtang is a beast and a good watch. Would love to see Tagir khalilov in a couple years after more body training. Love the character and am very impressed. Good fight
He has to learn to strike. He punches using his arms only so there is no weight behind his strikes. He needs a trainer who know how to box. Fitness is only half of it. Technique is vital.

I hope he will be fine since he is very alerted after being hits, if he was shook or wobbled than his brain is showing signs of trauma. Not everyone is the same, some are built different like fighters whose brain has strong supporting structures around it.

Rodtang is too strong. He always beckons people in to fight toe to toe, he gets frustrated if they box him. They should ignore him and box from the outside, that’s the only way to have any chance against the tank... otherwise known as Rodtang 👊

He got his weakness, hes not that technical he could be. He could be more technical because he got the experience from over 300 fights, to absorb less damage. But anyway, his power, aggressivity and strong chin are champion material.

I'm not sure he did enough to win this one, honestly. The Russian fighter was more active, connected more, even as he was backing up and often back to the cage. I'm not sure what the judges saw that let them hand that one to Rodtang. The showmanship certainly didn't show domination.
