SAPS marks one year of Operation Shanela

Police Minister Bheki Cele marks one year of Operation Shanela in Pretoria today. Last year, the South African Police Service launched a High Density Operation Shanela as part of the increased crime prevention and combating action plan. To date over 500 000 suspected criminals have been arrested through Operation Shanela.
