Thanks Rabbi Reuven, I cant scroll down without pressing “save to watch later”
oh another good one...”save to watch later”
And now my “save to watch later” playlist is full of nothing but your amazing lessons. I’m so grateful for these lessons (in English) because there are a lot of imposters out there. The only other Rabbi I’ve liked listening to is Zamir Cohen but it’s straining to read the subtitles for too long.
I am really realizing that growing up non religious was such a hinderance on my soul. This is where I belong. But sometimes it’s too much for me to understand and to grasp. And sometimes I even start questioning if this is all true bc it’s so eye opening that my mind starts drifting to so many questions....I just keep praying that Hashem leads me to the right direction ❤️

You’re right. I had an open vision last week on Monday. I was paying the Hebrew prayers at night in Hebrew. I started with the Netilat Yadayim, Adon Olam, Parashat HaKetoret, then I went on to the Keriat Shema and a few other prayers, but I was so tired and exhausted but I had to pray before bed. Because I was so tired I didn’t wanna fall asleep while praying so I walked around in my room while praying, then I saw one of my kitchen knifes on my headboard (has shelves). I never put it there and it was just there, it looked to be clean with no blood or food on it. But I was so scared and I touched the place where I saw the knife and prayed the Ketoret again.
But I thought that was such a strange thing, I still don’t know what it meant.

This seems to put all the blame with converts when it's not always so...EDIT: After watching further into the video, I recognise that you said that the blame partly blames with the Jewish world, so I apologise Rabbi Yaron.
But your honestly and clarity with regards to what a convert will go through is very much needed.
    It's the cold, hard reality.
It's a bit disturbing though that people seem to think it's funny in the audience when you are being deadly serious. I mean, this is actual people's lives, not a comedy.

My wife and I completed our conversion with the Manhattan Beit Din this year. We were comfortable for most of the time, we go to a Chabad for the most part... my feeling on all this is that there is truth to it, but at the same time.... If you want it, you want it. And there is nothing on this earth that can stop you from reaching conversion if the Master of the Universe wants you on board. Funny enough I am Avraham Ben Avraham, and my wife is Sarah Bat Sarah. It took about 2 years, we didn't call ourselves by our Hebrew names until we came out of the Mikveh and nobody else did either. We had Shabbat at proper orthodox houses, not every week but enough times to feel the vibes of a proper Shabbat in a real Jewish home. The only discomfort we felt was the conflict of wanting Moshiach vs the shame in the back of our minds of wanting it to take one more day so we could make it on the boat before it took off. It will always be shameful that I had this desire, but it's not something I will ever be able to deny. Of course for the sake of Hashem, and the world... The desire for Moshiach was greater, but still that selfish desire was there.

Rabbi thank you so much for giving it to us straight, the orthodox teachings not watered down. My mom and I both turned to the God of Israel and it feels amazing to embrace the one true God. We are both down the path of possible conversion in the future. Is it possible for us to get a care package as well? Thank you, Baruch Hashem, bless you Rabbi!!

    Hi Rabbi Reuven,
I have a question about conversion:
Okay, so I have been in contact with an Orthodox rabbi in Israel with regards to converting to Judaism. He is offering online conversion classes for me, whilst I live in my local community and have the guidance and permission of my sponsoring rabbi over here in the UK, and then a final beit din in Israel. The organisation he belongs to is Ami Giyur, and he is on the beit din that Rabbi Rosen Z"L set up.
The other option is doing a similar programme with Midreshet Be'erot Bat Ayin whilst living and observing in my local community and with the support and guidance of my LOR, and then converting with another private bet din in Israel.
What I was wondering is if such programmes are legitimate or worthwhile doing? I ask, as I don't know much about batei din or conversions in Israel, and I want to make sure my conversion is halachic/proper and recognised by someone at least. I'm not so worried about it being a rabbinate conversion, but rather a genuine conversion where I can live an Orthodox life.
    Thanks,
    Leanne

What happens if someone converts with the most respected and qualified Orthodox beit din but had in mind while converting that there is one thing in the Torah the he did not fully accept or believe and probably would not keep that particular mitzvah or whatever; yet was successful in completing the conversion. Could that person’s conversion be undone when a years later the beit din learns about this? Especially if the convert admits its true?

I have a question on the father and daughter that converted even if it is allowed by the tora wouldn't it be a sin because of conscience ?? And if his conscience doesn't bother him do you think he has a righteous spirit because he is ok with it just because it's allowed??

My comment is meant NOT to offend but merely as a thought which came to me after I read accounts of people who are SO wealthy, powerful and connected that they are above every law in the world and never held accountable for anything so here goes. I'm not a person of any faith - I've never been able to believe in any religion - but I enjoy reading about other peoples' faiths, conversions and so on BUT it occurred to me that "these other mega-rich people couldn't possibly believe in any faith or "good" deeds or behaviour considering they are so depraved and corrupt." So then, I think, what's the point of being a person of any faith? I'd love an answer. Why are people converting to Judaism - I understand that Judaism requires "the person" to accept following many rules. And with the increasing number of humans who disrespect and flagrantly ignore any sort of convention, what would be the goal of converting - other than believing in Hashem but not in the Christian messiah........... AND all those other faiths which I don't really understand. Thank you

In the process of conversión would be allowed to go to a Jewish school. Obviously the parents have not become Jews and could very well change their mind at any time for any given reason. I think the policy should be that once they family is accepted then at that point in time be plowed to attend Jewish school. In the mean while they can go to online school or online Jewish school if they really want their kids to learn the Jewish way but not have non Jews attend school with Jews. Muslims don’t allow non Muslims to attend their school if you are not a Muslim… for for thought

just because your parents and grandparents made mistakes does not mean that you have to follow. If they all chose to be beggers despite having a better choice of vocation, you surely would not make the same choice. My suggestion would be to stat with watching Torah and Science by Rabbi Mizrachi and then Torah, Science and Ancient Wisdom by Rabbi Yaron Reuven (multiple parts). These few films would eliminate the foolishness in your mind that tells you that you came from monkeys or amebas or some single cell organism (i.e. you will believe in God as the one and only Creator). Then watch our Mussar Pirkei Avot Series which will breakdown to you why believing in God is not enough (i.e. you must take action in order to show your belief).

I may have deleted my previous comments.... but I still stand behind what I said. If you really think that Kinship is the same as Relation..... youre a bigger fool than Laqish. Kinship in this case refers to tribe and nation..... like someone who had dual nationality has kinship with two nations. Relation is refering to your contact with the people arround you. What Laqish is sugesting is that kinship and relation are the same thing, if you have friends who are non-jews and you convert..... It is as if you have never had friends. Meaning, if they ask.... hey bro how are you? You would have to reply.... who are you? I don't know you.I became a Jew yesterday so I have to pretend you never existed. Most sages knew this concept. I don't understand why Laqish became so popular even. Rabbi Yohanan is probably the only reason his name should have even been mentioned in the torah. Anyways the concept is an insult to god and his tora. In the same chapter you can find
אח הוא וברי הוא אחתיה אנא דהאי דדרינא אכתפאי משכחת לה בעובד כוכבים הבא על בתו
The Gemara cites another riddle about a bizarre family relationship. A woman says: He is my brother and he is my son; I am the sister of this one, whom I carry on my shoulders. What is the solution? You find it in the case of a gentile who engaged in intercourse with his daughter, and she bore him a son, who is therefore both her brother and her son. The Gemara is referring to a gentile because it does not wish to entertain the idea that a Jew would act in such a manner.
If Laqish is wrong, the dayan is in for a nice treat when he goes to gehenom. If he is right, I will be the one going. And I won't give a flying f. Because I know God would never allow such disgrace in his name.

Being Jewish is to be of the bloodline of Esau, and the Moshiach is coming to avenge Jacob's theft of the blessing of dominion. Conversion to Judaism is nonsense, you can't just change your blood.
