I’m so happy there’s a season 3, couldn’t think of a more deserving group of people either, you can tell this show and the writing behind it has really made them tape in to their character. So good so goood Bravo The bear
@@lexi219 they even tried to say Jeremy and Ayo were in a relationship and Ayo was pregnant with his child and thats why he divorced. I hate fanfictions bc they increase and encourage absolute delusion
The same could be said about Barry, which became more and more dramatic each season, but for some reason 30-minute episodes have always been considered "comedy", which makes no sense to me. The Bear is described as a comedy-drama, while Barry is described as a black comedy crime drama, so I guess they get to choose the category where they feel they have more chances of winning.
Well, comedy doesn’t necessarily mean walls-to-wall humor. The show is funny in a lot of places. and the comedy is in concert with the drama. The same thing applies to Barry, yes it’s dramatic but it’s still very funny. I don’t think these shows are slotting themselves in the comedy category so they can win more awards. That’s disingenuous.
@@ApolloPlanetary I don't know, even a drama like Breaking Bad had a lot of funny moments, I guess shows like The Bear and Barry belong to a more... grey area, more difficult to define. I do think Barry is more of a comedy than The Bear, though.
So I'm going to be honest didn't watch the Emmys and when I read the title I thought all the cast kissed each other at the same time and this is not that.
I'm not sure about that kiss. I was not happy with Halle Berry being assaulted by Adrien Brody and this one did not feel much better especially since it is clear these guys missed the point.
These dudes are friends, not that much different from the sort of moments with Ryan Gosling, Andrew garfield or like any time two dudes embrace each other on stage about a win like Ke Huy Quan and Ford or Spike Lee and Sam L Jackson. I’m sorry but two friends kissing each other is NOT the same AT ALL as some male actor forcing himself on Halle Berry, which was atrocious, and honestly all too common (Jim Carrey for example). Especially with how Halle Berry’s career has been fucked ever since Catwoman.
The interviewer’s comment was horrific. I would have thought that today people would be more sensitive and have a better understanding of happened. Can you imagine being molested on national TV while your peers smiled and laughed? And she is still being asked about it in interviews. Every time I see Adrien Brody on TV, I turn the channel. And if he was in a film, I would not go. I can only hope that this interviewer only saw the photo and didn’t know the history. And I hope he reads these comments or that he knows someone who will educate him. And even if he doesn’t get it, perhaps he won’t say something so stupid.
This is not a comedy. People don't seem to know what comedy is anymore. Comedy is not trauma, drama, hard work, quarrels, sadness, or serious problems. While watching comedies, people used to laugh, they were so happy, sometimes they even had to pee in their pants from laughing so hard. The Bear is not a comedy.
Dude The Martian got comedy awards, they just want to be able to give more than ONE AWARD when there’s a bajillion shows, comedy is part of the lineup in TV awards becuz it gives shows with smaller runtimes a chance. Chill tf out. You want only Succession to get an award and no one else when there’s a thousand shows released in a year? Whats ur problem, The Bear is great
@@ashley.taylor174 watch season 2 if u havent already, idk that sold it for me 100%. Don’t think its over-hyped personally because of that second season where it becomes about way more than just cooking and a small handful of characters
@@ashley.taylor174 no it only feels overhyped now perhaps because you weren't there when it's popularity first started to grow. Kind of like Succession. There wasn't anything else like it on TV when season 1 came out
An “ocean of love,” eh, Matty Matheson? Well. This one goes out to you and Ebon. th-cam.com/video/mkSAGmg20AY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=N_P8szKtstjC6M_t Congratulations to the cast and crew on their well deserved wins.
I love the closeness between Ayo and Jeremy. They seem to be great support for one another.
They're so cute
im so happy that this show is getting the recognition it deserves!!

The bear
This award season has blessed us with the absolute appreciation of "the bear"
And succession. My two favorite shows
For next year, can we have Ayo winning for best actress and Liza for supporting actress? Liza is too good for not getting any awards!
Liza and Ayo’s are gems 💎 🎉
Liza needs more screen time
I genuinely love this show.
The Bear led me to the British series Boiling Point. It's also a restaurant drama. Excellent.
Which led me to the book, Your Table is Ready.
it's not a series but yeah it's great
The show is amazing and wish many more awards in future
I love this show and this cast!
This show is amazing
Best show all year. ❤️❤️❤️
Idk what 🪨 I was under but I just finished the show~ and I loved it!! Can’t wait for season 3 I loved the writing and cast! 👏🏾 well done~
Really excited for the third season! You guys make me nervous in your kitchen as well. I feel there.
Love them!!!!
Matty you are dope. That kiss was beautiful.
This show is so good
The fan fic is writing itself!
Wattpad gonna have a field day with this one 😂😂😂
Not its not. Fanfics be gone! *sprays RAID* 😷😷😷😷
@@THEDOORIZCLOSED ah let us have our fanfic fun, it's not like the actual show is gonna give us what we want lol
It's so sad that two people can't be close or be friends without randoms imposing sex and romance onto them.

I’m surprised this is in the comedy category. When I describe it to other people I always say, “kitchen drama.”

Definitely a drama. Maybe this is where they could fit it in to give them the accolades?
Is Barry worth watching? @@matthewjenkins8506

This cast inability to do a interview is hilarious. They are all awkward
That was passionate guy love and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
Amazing show. The whole cast deserved the award. Ayo was a standout though! This interviewer is cringe btw.
what makes him cringe? do tell.
I kind of wish he directed himself towards all of them or gave others eye contact.
Cuties!!!
Sugar looks sweet!
Matty i feel you brother, monkey suits are hot af! congrats everyone!
tyler, the creator i like "the bear" too
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Matty looks so uncomfortable....I feel you bro! Working the carving station sucks!

Great show, but comedy??? What are the requirements to be viewed as comedy??
the length. it's only 30 mins.

It’s definitely a dark comedy
Terrible interviewer
It doesn't seem like a comedy
I mean, it's a decent show, but is it worth the hype? I am not fully sold.
I like it but it is a little overhyped for some reasons odd reason.
There's levels to what's happening on screen that you're missing.
