I have been preaching and teaching Bible for over 50 years. In 1957, I began studying the scriptures diligently after graduating from high school. In 1980, God began dealing with me, bringing me to what I believed was my deathbed in 1985.
In the hospital, I awoke near death crying out to God, "Lord, You are going to kill me if I don't quit living for myself and saying all the truth in my power!!!"
Thereafter, I began to say these blunt plain words that appeal to the elect sheep. As a result, I began to make more enemies than I could have ever imagined. I was sick and tired of the “mush” gospel that churches were preaching.
My family was confused, and on many occasions on the way home from church, my wife would say, "he said such-and-such last week and he said this-and-that this week contradicting what he said the previous week." I began to say to my wife Mary, "don't listen to the preacher, because he doesn't know what he’s talking about." Finally, I said, "this is a waste of time! We are going home. We are not going to these churches anymore. I will teach you from our home."
Twenty years ago, we started Grace and Truth Ministries which included my wife, son and one other young man. We started taping the sermons shortly thereafter. Grace and Truth Ministries is now meeting in a building located in Hendersonville, TN.
Last year, by the grace of God, we gave away approximately 25,000 DVDs free-of-charge.
We regularly add more television, radio and internet to get the truth to those who have ears to hear.

God Has Chosen
Romans 8:29-30 - "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified." Foreknow - to have a personal intimate relationship beforehand.
God predetermined that all who belonged to him before the foundation of the world were to "conform" to the word of God in obedience to Christ.
All that were predestined were "called", "justified", and "glorified" (past tense verbs). These were fixed in the mind of God before the world began. (Ephesians 1:4; Acts 13:48; II Thessalonians 2:13). The election of the saints is unto accountability (I Peter 1:2).
The majority of the protestant church held to this doctrine during the reformation. It is the foundation of "The London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689".
You Baptists are supposed to be believing it and you've discarded this precious doctrine of Grace !!!
No Free Will
John 1:13 - Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
James 1:18 - Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his
creatures.
Romans 9:15-16 - 15For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have
compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth,
but of God that sheweth mercy.
John 5:21 - For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he
will.
John 6:39 - And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose
nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
God Does All Things
Isaiah 46:10 - Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done,
saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.
Eccl. 3:14 - I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken
from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
Ephesians 1:11 - In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose
of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will
It’s hurts when people hate you because of the truth of God. But it strengthens you when you understand why!!!! Praise The Lord

Thank you, Pastor Jim, it is very hard to live for Jesus, I see how people are being just so rude to the word of God, they walk as though they are above the Lord God. They don't want to hear anything that will put a damper in their step in life. It's difficult to even want to talk to anyone because it's the same response I get, but I know it's not about me it's about His will being done in all things. I thank you for teaching us and showing us that we need to continue standing for truth in a world that hates it, no matter what the cost. I thank God for bringing us to you and having a teacher that shows us just how we are to talk, walk, and learn the word of God every day. I love you, Pastor Jim, much agape and phileo.
I met Pastor Jim 11/2 years ago, after several water baptism, accepting Christ thousands of times, I’m so grateful for Pastor Jim and Truth and Grace, his hard efforts have made this miserable existence of mine much more tolerable. I was so lost, I kept praying for the magic words to find the Lord, I was desperate and at my lowest when God gave me the answer, this ministry through Christ Jesus has literally saved my life and given me hope in a hopeless world. I’m surrounded by 20 churches in this small town, they all teach NOTHING. I left every church in lifetime with feeling desperately dumb, lost and hopeless, I love my Pastor and church family. I've always been odd one out and standing forever alone in a crowded room. Learning about being predestined and about the LORD and the truth of God's word and many things have helped me understand myself and this present world. I am so very grateful to God for not leaving me to the stubbornness of my own heart. Thank you sir for sharing what the LORD has given you and helping me understand better the futility in trying to convert goats and the the whole counsel of God.

Praise God for raising up men like James Strong, which "devoted 35 years of his life to the creation of his concordance" and dictionary!
No preacher, teacher, pastor or Christian has ever recommended to me, to learn all that I could in Strong's concordance.
But, with my KJV and Strong's I've come to the same conclusions as brother Jim Brown, after 50 years or more of reading both. The bible is infallible, and Strong's, like Tyndale, has been more than a father to me, correcting me, helping me, encouraging me to live, and die, in the Gospel of Christ.
Acts 14:22 is one of the first verses that challenged all I'd been taught. And, John 3:14-15 helped me see that people were pixelated, confused, self-inventing and ignorant, and that scared me.
But, how comforting to listen to a kindred spirit, and lover of the Truth, 'that we might be saved'.
Thank you, Jim, for renewing my interest in 'hearing', as hearing false preaching for decades was wearing me out!

Maybe I should have said that, I've worn out a couple KJV Complete Word Study New Testaments, edited by Spiros Zodhiates, which has the Strong's number and grammatical notation over every word.

I grew up hearing those clowns on TBN and CBN for nearly 60 years. Reading the bible and looking up almost every word in verses caused me to see their errors, and to have many enemies, that won't talk to me any more. Praise God! (1Thes.5:18).

Yes it's verey hard I've acieved not having sex out wed lock ,stopped drugs,cursing ,an so forth but tobacco one my hardest sense physical addiction ther to not just mental in my head an heart I want to stop but seem not able to went from four packs of cigs to one or two black mild cigars every other day or so I'm tryin really to stop smoking it's so hard cravings ugggggggh Jesus is real tho I stopped all the other trash I'm not perfect tho I'm a sinner I understand that an I slip on some things I've been doing good on major sins I did an I try to not sin everyday an I talk an pray an repent daily but I'm still scared to burn in hell I don't feel like I'm worthy enough for Jesus I don't deserve anything he gives me at all

I find myself getting angry with all the false teachers in America and calling them idiots also, I agree with Jim, we got a bunch of lying thriving stupid preachers in the pulpit. My question is, it’s the lazy preachers fault that peoples are so ignorant of the Truth, so are they going to hell for listening to their unlearned preacher? I would sure like to know.

Tbh I came from a southern Baptist im only 18 but lately the church I been going to for years I started not feeling right and I know we shouldn’t go based off feeling and I was seeking more truth seeking more information about the Bible that no body could give me that was Baptist idk if im part of the elect but I believe this I read the verses you stated that talk about predestinated and I had a preacher tell the church that there’s no such thing but then reading those verses in my kjv Bible they lied I use to think billy gram was a good preacher but like you stated he didn’t preach about the narrow way and I read the Bible through it but I never studied it like you so now I’m gonna restart imma go back and studie and take notes it would be very appreciative if you do read this but sir idk how to get out of my baptis church Bc my parents are full on baptis and I live with them I’m still in school I’ll lose a lot of love ones I know I’ll be hated and called a foolish young man but I love God I will choose him before anyone else but I still don’t know how do to it sir .

I understand your comment. I’ve learned it’s better to listen to Jim and take my own notes. However, I do reference the board he writes on. I usually pause the video and take a screenshot. This helps me get more accurate notes.
