Notice the bright red color of the vehicle it hit I recently had an encounter with a bull buffalo and Thermopolis and I have a candy apple red Jeep Patriot I saw the bull come up from the pond he looked right at my Jeep he started to lower his head he had I could see his eyes he was not happy so I think red vehicles are a trigger I slowly put my Jeep in gear and move very slowly away from it and it followed my Jeep with its eyes

Getting pushy with the big bulls is NOT a good idea. They might just push back and remove a fender or two from your car or truck.
we visited there a few years ago. Didn't see nearly this many bison. But we saw a lot in Yellowstone.
