It's a timeless warning. Paul Simon was a genius with his lyrics. Art Garfunkel was a wonderful singer...still is! It's a bit of a saying in the past few years that S&G wrote it as a warning, Disturbed's version emotes anger that the warning wasn't heeded, PTX tells us that there is still hope that we will heed it.
