Besides the addition of electrical (LED lights), plumbing (fixtures), insulation (cotton quilt batting), and stain/paint, perhaps in future builds consider being able to lift off the roof and each floor to be able to see into the house. If you could remove each floor, then you could create or/purchase furniture, rugs, and artwork. Amazing commitment and hard work! PS, many years ago, my two young daughters and I created a very large “gingerbread house” using a base of polystyrene packing foam boards 1/4-1/2” thick, then gluing on graham crackers. (Back then, I had only Elmer’s white school glue which took forever to hold the pieces together!) I found leaving the graham crackers out in a humid environment would allow me to cut them more precisely. Then after gluing them to the foam boards and putting the project in an area with no/low humidity would remove the moisture and firm the graham crackers back up. We then decorated using round sandwich cookies and round peppermints as wreathes, chocolate bars for windows, licorice whips for railings and gutters/downspouts (and mini peppermint cane “hooks” for spindles), Nico candy wafers as roof shingles, Jujubes as gable gems, Good-n-Plenty licorice for the chimneys, and royal icing for mortar and snow. So much work had gone into it, I just couldn't imagine throwing it out once the holidays were over. So, I put it in a heavy-duty black plastic garbage bag, put it in my closet, and hoped for the best. It survived eight years (each year adding to and expanding the house) before I moved and my now ex foolishly put it in the basement with no climate control. Mold finally got to it, but it made great memories for my daughters until then!
I….am……speechless! I am studying interior design rn and I cannot begin to think of how you planned this out. I am also amazed that you literally made it from nothing but popsicle sticks. I make lots of miniatures and I always use 10 different sizes of popsicle sticks and small wood panels. Incredible work!
What a journey! And man, oh man, is the pay off really satisfying! The house looks really good and well constructed! Thank YOU for the effort and commitment. Looking forward to the time-lapse and other video you talked about :) Well done
You did a fantastic job on the house, and it looks gorgeous! But, yes there is a but, if you would have gone for a realistic look and put in colored construction board on the interior and put in lights, it would have been an amazing house! Obviously, you have the talent for such a thing. Great job anyway.
Wow ! An amazing amount of work for an awesome result ! Do you ever plan to take a finished model and add plaster, paint, roofing materials, doors, windows, and landscaping ? That would be cool ...
I was curious if you planned on making the roof and second floor removable? Or break it down into sections so you could transport it? This seems like it would be a great piece to enter events or contests. I could see it being useful as an example in an engineering school. I can imagine this would be very cool to see in person.
It's not always about reaching the destination, it's normally about the journey getting there. Great job and best wishes on your future endeavors. I just subscribed, BTW.
Hey Landon, just wanted to say love the house it turned out great. Love the railings inside. If you’re interested I posted my mansion video on this channel so you can watch it if you want. Thanks for inspiring me!
Hey man, came here from the timelapse, since I haven't watched your channel, I'd like you to make a full tour of the house with schematics and more detail, it looks amazing but I don't know what I'm looking at 😅
I’m gonna set it up in my room and kind of present it on the work table. it unfortunately can’t fit through my door so it’s gonna have to stay in my room 🥲
Absolutely incredible build. Congratulations on finishing it,
it looks stunning.
It’s not about finishing the house, it’s about the memories made along the way
well put!
What an amazing project 🤩👍

Awesome Job! Are you going to make another house?
unfortunately, I wouldn’t have enough time to make another one since i’ll be off to college in fall of 2025
Do we have blueprints for this?
@Landon Sees
Nice.
Can you build a yaught?
I bet that would be something for the Guinness Book of Records.
Did you get all the proper Building Permits for this project?

Why don't you do a tour of the house?
Now what are you going to do with it?
I’m gonna set it up in my room and kind of present it on the work table. it unfortunately can’t fit through my door so it’s gonna have to stay in my room 🥲

I’m gonna keep it bare, just the sanded popsicle stick outside like you see on the thumbnails.
