Quick question about the effects in Bitwig, you can add those post recording, correct? I'm still way behind on my bitwig learning as I've been spending most of my time learning the hardware I've purchased over the last year. I'd love to see more on how you use Bitwig.
Thanks for the idea. I may draw up something for my Bitwig stuff. Thus far i am so hardware focused i dont use all the great things Bitwig has to offer. Its 100 percent a multitrack recorder with the FX so i dont need several pedals. I track the Perkons Main to a Track that records it all live. I connect the Sends on my perkons voices into Bitwig on a different tracks with FX. During performance i am getting my dry recording and FX recordings. I enjoy that process, it also gives me post mixing detail if I feel inclined to do so.
so you send out all 4 voices to bitwig using send output so that they are dry, then u apply effects in bitwig but you still have the main output from the Perkons and it is that you record? you record the main output right, so this way you can fade between wet and dry on the voices and capture it all? or do you have to send back the 4 dry signals from bitwig to the perkons to get the main output?
Thats it! Now sometimes i mix it up with my sends etc. But thats generally how i been working. The sends are going to FX tracks, so the main is being recorded and the FX tracks are being recorded. Gives me lots of control and makes the send knob more fun.
Each voice has a send output. Lets talk about voice one. I will first send the main out to my channel one of soundcard. Next i use only the send output of Voice one and send to my second channel of soundcard. In my daw i will have the main output audio track and a FX send audio Track for Voice 1. The Send knob on the Perkons lets me blend the Main output dry signal with the FX audio track in Bitwig.
I currently have mine setup to master out and master send to separate channels on my 16rig. This allows me to manage send fx but also use the BBD built in. On the mixer I have the master Send going to an AUX channel on the 16 rig which then goes to stereo outs and into a Hologram Micocosm. The microcosm come back in through it's own stereo input. It works pretty good.
I use a combo and it can be different every time. Lately, I am using both. I will have the main outs for Voices 2-4 and go directly out with my Kick. I may also use the sends on voices 2-4 so I can perform with FXs on each channel. Thanks for stopping by and let me know if you need any help.

@@Noise-Makervery cool, but the send knob actions are only reflected in main out mix? it doesn't impact the sends?
Are you sending midi info to your DAW? From my understanding you can send everything from this unit. Also, sorry for the comment barrage.
Hi Joshua. I dont send any Midi data to my daw. All midi is on Perkons and OXI one. I use Bitwig as an audio recorder and for FX sends.

Would be great if you could mono your voice audio. It's very disorienting at the moment.
