Great imprison of size and scale of the Calia bunkers, they were heavily bombed by the RAF, the area around these bunkers looked like a moon scape.

Hello Tino, the pillars that you mentioned alongside the path towards the bunkers actually parts of a beach defense structure. This structure contained 3 of those pillars plus an expensive.

fort Rammerkens looks like a fort that's been adapted many times over a very long period, its the kind of example that begs for historians and architects to photograph, perhaps make both 3d and underground scanning imagery to discover what's beneath and what these places once looked like, how they have been adapted or possibly ruined with what ever occupation has gone on
looking at the external wall at 22.52 it might seem the fort looked very different, and somewhat prettier than what we see today, and clearly building technology shows how a wall might only be built so high vertically, while later adaptations use brick and double brick layers at a slope to combat gravity while being built, and to be able to take some bombardment
it beggar's belief in so many ways, that these were built by man and by hand, it must have taken so many man hours and so much effort to hall in the materials - fantastic video and insight to the old and new

Hey Tino, thanks for showing the Atlantic Wal on the Dutch coast. The closed doors in the bunker is not only for the protection of the bats but also to avoid youth leaving their rubbish and other mess like drinking cans paper rappings and other junk or to prevent drugs users using the bunkers to sleep in and getting high in there.
Great job on this documentary the drone is excellent edition to the visuals. 👍👍👍👍👍

Yoooo thats awesome i get to see my own region. As a kid we used to visit Fort Rammekens with school classes. They didn't really speak much about WW2 but i always loved the instant history vibe i got when visiting that place. Vlissingen (when im born) is also a really nice place to visit if you're on holiday. Summer is the best, awesome sunsets. It's like Holland's little Florida 😆

Tino, it is so interesting to see the evolution of fortifications over the past 500 years or so. Also the development of new fortifications specifically for the Atlantic wall, West wall & East wall. The work you've done and are doing is keeping a record of history that I don't think anyone else is or has done. On top of this there is all the work you are doing to inform of the tunnels build for the production of weapons such as the V rockets, ME260, etc, etc. Along with uncovering the activities of General Frans Klammer and associates.
What you are doing is really a full time investigation which you ideally should be spending 6 months in America and 6 months in Europe, it is a great shame that you are unable to get a grant of funding from one of the many affluent philanthropists interested in history. IAM only sorry that I'm not in a position to assist you any more than I do. Keep up the great work you are doing in such a restricted way

We must have protection for the pooper, yes, add arches everywhere. Those Germans used all the concrete and rebar for tunnels to build jets, V2, and atomic weapons.

This was a new edition or this is a old style shaped tunnel and how we do modern building Tino is found within in. That was only discovered very recently in last few years, that is like that found of the Gravity defying Abbey called Mont-Saint-Michel. Have you ever been to it to see the impressive design work on how the abbey stands on the pillars beneath it? You really need to go there and see how modern forts got built.
Those rails lying to rot should be preserved by the people of France to show just how well the place was fortified? It’s terrible to see so much history in Europe lying to rot away?

There must be a lot of unexplored ordnance from the bombings fighting etc from aircraft ships and that of what men dropped.
And don’t pick at the paint in any place you go to Tino! I’m being your dad here son!😂 As lead paints is dangerous to your health from the spores that come off it. Be careful Tino of the unseen spores that can effect your health when disturbing areas. If you get a cough get to a Dr. To get rid of the infection and explain where you’d been to Lso.
