These are fabulous. Made several and incorporated a good variety of style and variation. A newbie to paper crafts and Stampin' Up, I really enjoy all your tutorials. Thanks!
Just love this!!!! I'll definately be making one for my craft table, I thought it would be difficult when i first saw it but it looks really simple to do but so so effective. Thanks for sharing.
Sam, I clicked the link to see the project items needed, and the link is no longer available. I am interested in creating this, love it. I am needed a supplies list, and measurements please.
These are cute. I have an even that I'm making a card box/receiving box for and I was told that I can display my business cards. This might be a contender. I have loads of paper vs purchasing a basic holder. Thanks!
Always such wonderful cute tutorials! I need to adjust the measurements for a portrait view business card though. How would my measurements and scores change? Have you already worked this one out? I am guessing it would be similar to this one and the greeting card box. Help.
Never mind! I sat down and "hammered" it out. The best part is...I can make two holders out of one sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock! I started with a piece of 4 1/4" x 10 3/4" cardstock. I scored it (short side at top) at 1" & 3 1/4". Then, along the long side at 3", 3 3/4", 6 3/4", & 7 1/2". The rest is done like you showed in your video. Thank you so much for sharing!!
Hi Sam. Love your videos. This project is gorgeous! I've made one and now have it on my desk at work. I'm always inspired by your tutorials. I have made a few of the free-standing business card holder but I'm a bit stuck on the DSP measurement. I've used imperial measurements and realise that the DSP is 51/2cm x 9cm. You said you have already scored the DSP in the right place on video, but where do I score it to fit onto the holder? Thanks again! Brilliant tutorial.
Hi, I really enjoy your tutorials, and have two scoring boards, both metric and imperial. :) So it dosent matter for me, what you make it in. BUT, i would be great if you can edit your videos and add measurments in the picture, or make little signs that you can show on your board. Thank you, for all your good ideas. :)
Hello there, I just checked your site to make July 24th, 2013 Freestanding Business Card Holder. However a Not found, error 404. So I did a search on your site to see if maybe it was just moved to another link. What I found was a July 16, 2014 upgrade to this tutorial, sadly the box is too big from the measurements you have in the 2013 version. Do you think 2013 version will be re-posted on your site?
The cardholder is too high in the front. For those who need to leave business cards with shops and other business the front part of the holder should be low enough to read the card.
I'm so confused..... this paper is apparently 9cm x 13.5cm yet you score it at 4,6,12 and 14cm???? how can you score it at 14 cm and the paper is only 13.5cm? am I missing something?
The link in the description didn't work- but here's the actual link for instructions pootles.co.uk/2013/07/24/stampin-up-uk-business-card-holder-tutorial/
