If it weren't for the 2005 King Kong I wouldn't have gotten into the franchise and watched the original movie. It was because of that move and it's backstory that got me to do my own remake. Legend of Kong; King of Skull Island a tribute to both the original and 2005 film. First, it'll be a visual novel before pursuing a 2d adaptation similar to Tarzan and Atlantis the Lost Empire.

I would've loved to have that statue of Kong fighting a V. rex. I even remember seeing one on sale at a convention years ago, but sadly couldn't afford it.

King Kong 2005 was my introduction to King Kong if wasn’t for this film I probably never would’ve heard or seen the 1933 original King Kong

As for the styrofoam Kong from 70’s, you may or not may not know it served first as sideshow in a circus in Italy by friends of my family and then housed in a theme park called Fiabilandia. For what i know it was thrown away later. P.S. The rex actually swallowing Ann and Kong ripping the jaws to pull her out is utterly insane 😵!

Unfortunately i feel I could’ve done more if I was in Italy at the moment. But my friend, actually my acquired uncle, is here with me. I hope that what he knows suffices.

10:08 Actually, that's a bit of a common misconception about "Revenge of the Sith" and all of the "Star Wars" prequels. They all used practical effects to one degree or another. "The Phantom Menace" is the one where the practical effects are the most noticeable, but they didn't stop using practical effects on either "Attack of the Clones" or "Revenge of the Sith." Most of the practical effects on those films were miniatures used for some of the sets, like the Kamino cloning facility or Geonosis arena in "Attack of the Clones" or the Wookiee tree villages on Kashyyyk and even some of the volcanic landscapes on Mustafar in "Revenge of the Sith." These are all things you see in the behind-the-scenes stuff for each of the "Star Wars" prequels. It wasn't all CG like some prequel detractors may have you believe.

I re-watched this movie on Netflix for the first time in years recently. I still basically have the same opinion of it as I did years ago. It’s too long. It has moments of sheer brilliance to it, but it’s a bit puzzling to me how Peter Jackson was such a mega fan of the original, which has a run time under two hours and yet he needs to make this movie 3+ hours in length? It Took them 1 hour just to get to Skull Island. That wasn’t necessary.

Looks like you’re not gonna solve that riddle jack by the way, the answer was Alastor and you probably weren’t even paying attention to these comments so it’s just a bunch of malarkey for me to keep doing these. I wanted to see if anyone would react to him sadly I have no information on the Kings gauntlet sorry I heard this from Big Bird who heard this from Elmo who heard it from Popo and Nana, who heard this from Pit and Palutena who heard it from Parakarry who heard from Steven Spielberg himself that you might want to look in hollywood
Edit it’s not the exact location but I think you might be able to find something but for all I know that letter was the letter G for Godzilla what I said the message was from Big Bird

26:54 domestically with King Kong being the fifth highest grossing movie of 2005 domestically and Revenge of the Sith being the number one highest grossing movie of 2005 domestically

Yeah you kind of seemed really harsh for no real reason in your original review of the 2005 film although something the noteworthy is that King Kong made less money than the Lord of the Rings movies

I haven't seen King Kong 2005 for a long time since I was little back when I skipped most of the film to the action scenes so I'll have to re watch it in full both the theatrical and extended edition so thanks for the inspiration the on!h other Kong film I've seen was Kong Skull Island. When are going to do John Carpenter's The Thing hop you add that film in your storyline. I like the storytelling in your videos and channel
