This is the most I’ve played trials in D2, but for me it’s another reason. I’m glad they brought the exile armor back and if I can get the armor via focusing then I will do it. This season they probably added more “stuff” to go after for people that haven’t played trials for years so that’s my motivation. Still enjoy watching the plays and wishing I could pull some of them off! Talk to you you soon brother

I only play solo these days as D1/D2 clan broke up and moved on so tried trials for the first time when they brought in freelance and enjoyed it. I was concerned re the new MM but so far it has been kind to me. not gone flawless but been closer than I've been before and farming plenty of trials loot while having fun, its a game after all. Thanks for the video and subbed
Sorry about the clan breaking up, I went thru a similar experience with my old clan. That's probably one of the hardest things about Destiny is seeing friends move on from the game. I'm glad you are having fun with trials, tho! Thanks for the sub :)
I also noticed that this weekend when I didn’t care about going flawless and just wanted some loot I could play in the practice pool and find pretty balanced matches for my skill level. It let me play elimination for the first time without stressing about going flawless or my rank. Was a blast and I came out of it with an immortal and 3-4 ascendant shards
the thing with mouse and keyboard is once you consistently play on m&k without switching back to controller because you keep dying you will begin to see the difference. m&k is all about muscle memory, once you get it down you will see major improvement
I love the fact that you don't need a free made fireteam. I'm sub par and hover between 0.7 and 1.2 kd - just tryin' to lively best life but be that as it may, it's near impossible to sell myself as a viable member for a flawless run. Granted, I pop off every few rounds and feel good about it but I'm usually a 48y/o liability, playing on a 60" flat screen cause my eyesight isn't great and my reaction time leaves a lot to desired. There's a lotta guardians out there that wanna blow off steam and compete as best we can and, yea, we want end game loot; we actually need that loot to help even the playing field a little. Before the update, I'd been flawless (carried) twice in 6 years. In the past few days, I've gotten to 5 wins with randoms and have gotten better by learning from the losses and watching what works for others. I can't wait to play more next weekend and eventually visit the lighthouse again.
That's awesome! I think a lot of high end PvP players kind of forget how they are not the norm. There's such a varying level of skill and I'm happy Trials has become a bit more approachable for people that aren't as hardcore with PvP. I'm looking forward to the Mercy card allowing two losses, I think that's going to be a great change.

If you ever attempt to make a move to variety content, it might be a good idea to do it with friends. Seems to me like people like Mr. Fruit were able to make that transition because the chemistry between them and their friends were really what people enjoyed watching. Yeah, as someone who grew up with Halo 2 and Halo 3, I feel like I need to at least try every new Halo, haha. I enjoyed it for a couple weeks, but it just didn't suck me in like old Halos did. I think part of it is due to how few maps there were at launch. I'm also just getting older and not nearly as competitive with gaming as I used to be... young Hovey was a big tryhard.
I agree, I think the map/zones contributed to the community woes. Having an objective makes solos a bit more challenging, regardless of the matchmaking. Also, thanks for the kind words on the other comment :)
definitely upload some other stuff it doesn't always have to be a permanent choice but seeing you in some halo or even other games would always be nice! Regardless still love the uploads!
Found that the skill gaps were bigger if you're 2 stacking. They either sucked, or were gods. Solo mm was generally ok, even though it's cbmm, my 2 flawless games were both filled with those on flawless games too (which is good).
I jokingly asked him about a week ago when he was streaming a waifu game and he said he would actually be down. IDK if it'll actually happen because he's a busy man, but I'd love to play with him again.
i never played trials before this, every game felt like a complete coin toss. But now losses feel actually fair and like i had a chance just bad plays. trials became my favorite pvp node now, best modes (even with barricade fest in zones it havent been as bad after the nerf) and match making is so so nice.
Maybe you could make an other chanel to test the water first and if it works then put it on your main chanel 😉 thx for making vids I always have a great moment watching them ✌️

Yeah, I was thinking about that, but most of my trials clips have chatting in them with teammates and I'd rather use them for highlight videos. Hopefully in the future I'll have more gameplay to spread around. It's a little hard at the moment because I'm trying to get better, so clips aren't as consistent... especially on MnK :(

Yeah, I feel that. I believe the reasoning was to stop cheaters from making new accounts, but it really does cut down on the population. Sucks that cheating is so rampant in PC gaming.
