    Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm a guitarist who is still struggling with this condition. It's always great to learn from someone who has overcome it. This thing called dystonia drains your soul, and videos like this one are a great and much needed source of hope and peace.

      @@PainFreeYouapparently focal dystonia of the hands is a lot easier to treat than when it's in the neck do you think cervical dystonia is also tms?

    Thank you!!! This was exactly my journey with cycling dystonia. I can still remember reading 'there is no cure' and break8ng down. I too had to reframe my thinking that I do not have a disease! I am so much better already after 6 months.

    This was a marvelous conversation!!! Thank you to both of you Dan and Conrado! It more and more turns out that so many conditions are TMS/perceived danger symptoms. That´s incredible and gorgeous! And as you proved the solution is simple and even fun not complicated! It´s in our own hands to change our mindsets and to live into a better life. Constant dripping wears away the stone/old believe system. That´s why I´m here on the channel every single day and it already started to work..... Thank you Dan!!! ❤

    Loved the interview! Never knew about this condition so thanks for putting the word out Dan and Conrado!

    You cannot fix a trauma. It has to stay in the past and leave it there. Even therapists now do not go back to the old trauma with their patients. But we do need to calm our brain to the present and future fears.

    Thanks so much for this video. I have laryngeal dystonia/spasmodic dysphonia and have long suspected it to be TMS (I believe Dr. Sarno has SD as a TMS equivalent), so this is more validation for me that it is!

    A very useful success story. I'm a professional composer and have many musician friends and colleagues that turn up with what are clearly TMS/PDP symptoms. This is a solid video I can point them to. ....@36:15 Totally off topic but, Overloud TH-U makes a Rockman plugin if you want that nostalgic sound. Also, LOL the apology for explicit language while wearing that shirt 😀

    Thank you for this video! I was diagnosed with a cervical dystonia which happened after the SCA I had in 2021. You know, the doctors just say that my brain was damaged somehow but the MRI looks fine! I am applying the mindbody approach and there are some days where I feel better! I know I'm not broken or damaged! I hope my success story will come up next! 😅😅❤️❤️

      Goodness what a thing to be told by your doctors. You are amazing to be able to ignore them & apply the mindbody approach!! Thank you for sharing. You are inspirational.

      You've got this. Doctors opinions are not facts. Teach your brain you are fine. It will respond.

      This interview is so necessary! I’ve heard this condition referred to as musicians dystonia and it affects so many musicians and hijacked many careers. So happy for you Cornrado!

    Not really sure where to ask this, but I'm wondering if parkinsons is TMS related. Any opinion/ thoughts on that?

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have not seen any evidence that parkinsons is TMS. However, fear tends to make all symptoms worse. While I can make no promises, I believe there is no downside to teaching your brain you are safe. DansFastStart.com

    I have not played my guitar in four years - muscle cramps acid reflux cannot sing - i am not a talented singer but i would sing and play - and fatigue and anxiety emotional pain etc I just stopped playing after 40 years of playing. - i was a mediocre player as i have very small hands - and i struggled with bar chords.

      @PainFreeYou  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It sounds like your condition falls under the category of the brain perceiving danger. Learn more here: DansFastStart.com - fear of writing may be causing the brain to create the cramp/pain.
