I HAVE THE PLEASURE OF HAVING HIM ON THE BAND STAND IN 2003 FOR THE BURIAL OF MY WIFE'S GRAND MOTHER, ALL MY INVITEES WERE SHOCKED ,THAT WHERE ON EARTH HAVE I FOUND CHIEF S.F OLOWOOKERE.IT WAS AN UNFORGETABLE AND THOROUGHLY ENJOYABLE MUSIC. MAY HE REST IN PERFECT PEACE.I MISSED HIM.
Before his death, S,F Olowookere was living in Ikorodu. H e died in Ikorodu and was buried in Ilesha which happened to be d same hometown with M.F. OLAYINKA.
May the labour of our heros past not be in vain! i doubt if we ever them this good? With no MON,CFR,OON or MFR to their names they genuinely gave us good and soulful music which generations yet unborn will still fancy to the end of time.
