Seeing "Memory Loss" and Dupe in the thumbnail made me think of a hellish modifier.
It's Battle of Wits, except *every door number is scratched out automatically.* In short, you have to keep count of what room you are on *until* you reach a Dupe room, where the doors will finally have their numbers.
In case you still don't get it. You know how when you walk through a door into a Dupe room and the number gets scratched out pretty quickly so you can't go back and see what room you are on? Well, what if the numbers were scratched out *before* you even go through the door?

No joke this video reminds me of my most recent run of the Hotel. I got Ambush 3 times in one run with no modifiers on, two of which were before the library. Door 19, 27, and 64 were the points I got Ambush. I legitimately was confused when Rush didn't spawn at Door 15, and then Ambush spawned and I was confused AF. Fast forward a few doors and out of nowhere Ambush spawned AGAIN, and I still hadn't seen a single Rush! Then I finished Seek Chase 1 and the room right after was Halt, so I completed that and a few rooms later got the ONLY RUSH I got before Door 50. And then I got the crucifix at Jeff's shop, continued on, and at room 64 Ambush spawned for his third and final time of the run, and I got my revenge by using the crucifix on him.

Ik this is off topic but recently I did floor 1 with “room for more” modifiers and a-90 only appeared ONCE in the whole run so it was just free coins lol a-60 and 120 were still a issue tho
@@leoyoung-hw7ek The Room For More modifier is a pain in the butt tbh. I equipped it while going for Hotel Hell and got screwed over by A-60 at door 28.

how to avoid dying on screech at door 100: get herb of viridis, and each time you complete a set get out and look at screech, then go back. easy!! :D (I've done it before)

Fun fact, you can get rid of Screech just by uiding in a closet, which is how I get past the greenhouse

Out of stuff: You need to get there fast and didnt notice the crucifixes in all the drawers and walls and even idk

Battle of wits: Dupe knows you need to get to the mines so he slows you down
Electrical work: You also fixed the breaker box yesterday
Didnt skip leg day: You are kinda late so you need to go fast
Room for more: Someone left the A-000 door open… Maybe it was you idk
Im running here: Rush also need to get to the mines as he is a worker too ig
Good time: Also its 2020 and most of the entities are quarantined
Tripped and fell: You tripped and fell trying to get to the hotel, fracturing your skull leaving it one hit away from breaking
