Dear "Carolina Kid", I love your videos and REALLY love your exuberance! I have also learned a lot from you (and I'm old enough to be your Grandfather). Thank you for all you do for the trapping community, - Paul Dodson
Thank you sir! I’m glad you enjoy the content and that I’ve been able to help out along the way. I definitely don’t know it all, but I try my best to tell everything that I do know. Thanks for the comment!!
Congratulations Isaac, that was a beautiful big male coyote !! I really like how you did the trench set and backed the trap set off from the bait hole. I will definitely be trying this type of set !! 🤗
Love watching your videos! I’ve had a tough couple of weeks trying to learn how to make a set! I’ve had coyotes around the traps and peeing on them but still haven’t caught one! Hoping to get one soon! -from the upstate of South Carolina
Nice caught my first gray today and it sure had a strange mouth. The top fur pulling small teeth grew out of the base of the nose with a open gap underneath them. It was weird
It doesn’t matter. However, in a trench set setting it’s easier to bed with the dos set at 3 o’clock. Just set the trap whichever way it will bed the most solid and it will catch regardless of which way the dog is facing.
Two weeks to go, but walking traps yesterday morning and what greeted my ears but Mr. TOM TURKEY sounding off. Won't be long and it will be time to chase those limb hangers. Love the color on that big male....definitely a pretty dog!!!!
Baseball was my favorite sport to play growing up. My first love for sports honestly. I’ll be rooting you on and completely understand if you’re not able to make it! Good luck in the tournament!!
They can. However they can’t smell it from as far away. That’s why it’s always best to say the traps where they’re already walking. I catch coyotes with bait holes full of water all the time!

I'd love to see a video on what all is involved in the live market
Yeah, like what is it?

Yes man id like to watch you making new sets
Nice big boy!!! Another good one man. Thanks!!
Glad to see you gave setting the dog at 3 o’clock a try! Beautiful big yote! Tight chains brother… keep-’em coming, only a few more weeks left…
What does setting the dog at 3 o’clock do? Does it matter where the dog is at?

@@CarolinaCoyote thank you sir
in one of your next videos may you please explain why your relocating the coyotes and not
dispatching them? thank you.
Love watching your videos I'm twice your age 😂 but I'm new to trapping
I've learned a lot watching you
18:13
nice catch!!!!!!
Great video!
That was a nice dog
I've learned alot from you. I trap in Texas
Pretty dog for sure
whats the average time after you set before you catch a coyote in a trap? first night, second night, etc... thanks, and awesome vidoes.
3 to 4 days all the way up to 1 to 2 weeks. Just depends on if they’re traveling the area and if they like what they smell
Heck yea man good job !!! I wish i coukd sell my dogs live but we cant in Alabama
You are right.I’m in Dothan Al,there’s a coyote pen below ashford, and one in Samson.
@chrisrice6958 dang i got a few coyotes and a bunch of fox this year
Still can’t transport on the road, live,I heard some fellers got caught in echo Al,turned out very expensive for them.
👍
Should you cover your traps with leaves and grass if it’s going to rain? If you use dirt it just turns to mud after it gets wet
You can. I usually go reset everything after a hard rain
Thank you
Just got some cavens bait so im gonna see how it works for me
Still waiting on my first yote!
Hey Carolina coyote. I was wondering if it rains on your dirt hole sets. Can coyotes still smell the bait even with water in the hole?
They can. However they can’t smell it from as far away. That’s why it’s always best to say the traps where they’re already walking. I catch coyotes with bait holes full of water all the time!
Thanks. I really appreciate the feedback from you!
No problem!
Can you tell us where you got that cage from that you put the coyotes in please?
Why do you keep them alive? Do you have a live market for them?
Why do you cage the coyotes live? Do you relocate them?
He sells them to the fox pens I think
