I made this last night- minus the extra chili peppers, used half a Serrano so as not to blow my parents ears out haha- it was just as good as the local restaurant. Thanks for the recipe. I made 60 cups worth of the ready to use sauce in the fall from our harvest of tomatoes and have it frozen for use!

Hi, I am British, and used to go for a curry once a week on average. Now I live in France, there are fewer curry houses over here, and IMO they just nowhere near as good as good ole UK Indian restaurants. I didn’t have time to make the base gravy. I followed the rest of the recipe, when i tasted it needed tempering ( as per adding gravy), but i noticed part of the bg was cream, so i added water and thick yoghourt to finish. It was AMAZING. Best ‘curry’ i have ever cooked.❤❤❤❤

Marry a Pakistani/indian woman and you'll learn her familys recipes ;). Those are often much better than restaurant grade recipes.
