I have a module called Jack Kerouac's animated spell effects, how would I get those imported into the FXmaster special effects tab? do I need to add every effect by hand with the "add effect" functionality or is there a more elegant way to get them in the tab?
Sure thing! If you have the chance check out the video I did on Animated Spell Effects. A number of those effects can also be used in FX Master. JB2A makes some pretty great ones for example that are free. PS: It's evening where I live. Haha
Same here... can't find any info on how to delete these effects... the lack of documentation with many/most of these FVTT modules is staggeringly ridiculous.
When you configure a scene, you can use the FXMaster's weather for that scene. Is there anyway to customize that weather? For instance, the clouds default to being somewhat dense and moving from north to south. If I want less dense clouds blowing across my map (west to east, for instance), is there a way to change that setting? Thank you!
In the FX effects tab, weather, next to each effect you should see an arrow. When you click that arrow you'll have a dropdown with various options you can change. For your given example of the clouds you could change the density or scale (scale for smaller clouds.) And you'd want to change the direction, increments of 25 will change the cardinal direciton. A value of 25 in the direction will have the clouds go from West-East.
@@mr.weaver6742 That works when you activate the weather per map. But if I switch to a map (scene) and I have weather effects on that scene per the configuration on the scene page, they always default to the listed values. If I'm making any sense lol. Thank you for the reply!
@@khartsfield Haha, maybe I understand? You can find me over on Discord too. If it's a configuration issue though, one (possible?) solution could be to export the configuration as a macro. If you want that configuration to appear on scene automatically upon activiation you can set up a simple trigger Trigger Happy and The Furnance. All you have to do is have trigger happy/The Furnance installed, use a journal folder/entry (check the settings) titled Trigger Happy, drag the scene you want onto the entry and then the weather config macro after it. And from now on whenever you go to that scene, the weather will automatically configure to the weather settings you setup with the macro rather than the defaults on the FX Master.
Do you know how to add/remove folders to the FXmaster custom panel? Or even remove special effects that you don't want. I can only seem to add effects but not control how they are organized.
I looked for some time and couldn't find an easy way to add folders. As far as removing effects, you should be able to just press the "trash can" next to the effect. Or are you trying to remove the default ones that come packaged with the module?
@@mr.weaver6742 a bit of both. Plus a folder system would be nice. I did some more investigation and found a guy that wrote a module you can customize to fix this issue. I can pull the Reddit post if you’d like it
Thank you! You'll need two modules to make it work. About Time and Calendar/Weather. About Time has other benefits too which I just covered in a recent video. :)

Good morning and nice video! One little question, where can I find more "special effects" as you say in 3:04? Thanks in advance!

I dragged and dropped an effect on to my vtt and now I can't get it to stop the animation or remove it from the board. Is there a macro for that?
having the same problem
found it there set as tiles so go to tiles control and then highlight them and delete.

@@fingerdrop Sure thing, I'll take a look at that.
Is the tint of the map affected by token vision?
I don't believe so? If you are using Perfect Vision though, then there's a high likelihood it would be affected.
Great Video thanks!!! What is that clock module called?

Atm fxmaster and bailey wiki maps don't work together.
