Holy Mass - Good Shepherd Sunday (4th Sunday of Easter) - 3 May 2020

Today, as we celebrate the Holy Mass on the Fourth Sunday of Easter, also known as Good Shepherd Sunday or Vocation Sunday, we pray especially for our Pope, bishops, priests, seminarians and those discerning a religious vocation.
Our celebrant, Friar Esmond Chua, OFM, reminds us that we need to listen and follow the voice of the Good Shepherd, so that we too may know the vocation that God is calling us to. In his homily, we are invited to reflect on these questions:
• Why did God, our Good Shepherd, lay down His life for us?
• Why is it important for us to listen and follow God? What is the danger of
not doing so?
• How can we follow God's voice, amidst worldly distractions, and even to
bear patiently life’s trials?
This week's contributions will go to the Good Shepherd Sunday collection, which will be used for the support of the SFX seminary and formation of our Diocesan seminarians. Thank you for your continued generosity.
