Since the Pokémon games follow a red/blue color palette for the main two games, it could be Crimson and Midnight, that would be pretty cool, since the connotation for both colors are kinda evil, they could make it to where the protagonist is a part of the evil team and have the evil team be the “good guys”.
The fact that Jordan stole Nick's Charmander and named it Greymon reminded me; there's a Digimon addon for Pixelmon, and I think it'd be great to see them do a series with it.
