The one problem with this format is the same one you get when you play Pkm RBY: stall is free on the shortest game is 100 turns long.

There was a format that me and my friends play called Finish line. It's like from November 8-11 of 2015. So the popular decks being Nekroz, BA, Tellarknights, etc etc. We play it at my locals sometimes.

OMG PLAY THE GUU , it’s stick chair , chicken game , performages , the trap that pays 1k to draw for every 2k LP difference , then the utopia spell that pays 500 to draw. the utopia guy in the extra that pays down to 10 is SOOOOOOO BROKEN against all those decks (and you have masq to make valk not work)

There are older formats in OCG. E.g. From when Pot of Greed and the Exodia pieces were at 3. Those could be too goofy for a tournament though.
