Is it different now? 6 yrs ago, after claiming my baggage was the airport lobby and exit. Right at the door of the airport was the airport bus going to Hakata Station. I found it the easiest international airport to deal with. I think it depends on what airline you flew it. Local buses are right there outside. Only 10 minutes to Hakata station. No need for subway.
Thank you for your video. I am a little puzzled because when we arrived at the Fukuoka International Airport from Singapore almost 8 years ago, the bus stop was very close to the terminal after getting out of the arrival hall. But the walk you took is rather long. Has it changed?
Thank u for this informative video. New Subs here. my flight arrival to japan is in the evening. Do they still have the bus service? And will there still be train sched going to hakata?
Did you have to wait long before the bus started to get going? I have a Yufuin No Mori train schedule to transfer to so trying to estimate time needed to get to Hakata station for this. Was it fast to clear immigration too?
Hello there, we did not wait long for the bus to depart as they depart quite frequently. As for the time when we exited the plane until clearing immigration, pick up luggage and out the door is just about 30-40 minutes at that time. However if you in a hurry, you could take a taxi to Hakata station, that only cost 2500 - 3000 yen. Hope you have a smooth journey!
It is 260 yen per person from airport to Hakata Station. If you have big luggages for 3 person, I dont think it will fit in the cab. But if you dont have luggage then it will take around 1500- 2000 yen to use the cab from the airport to Hakata Station.
There used to only be a domestic terminal. They added an International airport for bigger planes later. Very nice that the airports have free shuttles between each terminal. Great signage, easy to navigate
Thank you so much for this !!! So helpful

Nice Video Good Good. How much it cost to get to Hakata Station? Is it better we take a cab where we have 3 person to reach Hakata City?

That's a long walk to the bus stop...what if it rains heavily?
It has roof over the head along the way to the shuttle bus.
Yes, it has roof to protect from the rain.
Does it took longer time at immigration line?
Expect 20 to 30 mins to clear the immigration.
Is the bus free to go to Fukuoka Airport Station?
Yes, the shuttle bus is free.
How unfriendly this design is for international tourists... And what is the point of having two terminals so far away?
Yes, I agree. I hope they can provide easier and convinient way for international visitor in the future.
