This is the first PAL-1 unboxing and review video, thank you for the sharing. The assembly is very professional and a lot of viewing pleasure from your video!
I hope it helps get the message out to the 6502 community, this replica is the real deal folks. You can have a hardware replica KIM-1 without breaking the bank.
Funny that I should find this video just after assembling my PAL-1 earlier today. Its been half-assembled in the basement for months. Glad to see this board getting a bit more love.
Thanks for sharing! One tip - sticking adhesive red transparent foil on the display greatly enhances contrast. Great vid, I assembled my PAL-1 in considerably more time but I don't have that much experience soldering projects like this. But the quality of the board and components is really good so I managed anyway. And indeed, as you say, this is the 'real deal' - fantastic KIM-1 clone with lots of expansion options. #HappyHacking6502
Oh my Gosh! What a masterpiece work! I just can't imagine a better format! Assembling a single board computer in under 2 hours so it works from the first time and programming it and all this happens within a single video. This is insanely cool! Thank you so much for taking time and filming it! My God it looks so easy in your hands! What a beauty! Loved when you said SHE is ready instead of IT is ready)
