It's a mantra very important for the Buddhist Tibetan tradition, also if is very little known.
It's the Love and compassion mantra.
WE RECIT IT 108 TIMES, according to the tradition of the Tibetan Mala.
The Mala is the Tibetan necklace that is used, by shelling the beads, to count the mantras during prayer.
The number of grains, 108, represents the eight types of consciousness with which our mind functions in the ordinary way and the hundred Buddhas that will manifest as the mind realizes its enlightened nature.
