I feel so sorry for Lady Gabriella. This is one of those tragic life events that can take a long time for anyone to recover from. I see a resemblance to her aunt, Princess Alexandra at the same age and I hope that she, along with Prince and Princess Michael, will give her their full support in this most trying of times.
Gabriella looks like her mother and no offence, but when those closest to us die l don't think we do recover, l think we just learn to live with it

She is the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent (son of the late Prince George, Duke of Kent...the late Queen's uncle). Elevate Lady Gabriella to title of Princess if she wishes. I would support it.

She is too Far Removed from King George V. The 1917 Royal Act states that A Monarch may only Give the Title of Prince or Princess to their Children, their Grandchildren on the Male Line & The Children & Grandchildren of The Prince of Wales. That is why Harry's 2 Children were not given the Title until Charles lll came to the Throne. In Lady Gabriella's case, it's further Complicated by the fact her Father Prince Michael of Kent, was Stripped of his HRH Status & lost his place on the Line of Succession by Queen Elizabeth ll in 1978, because he Married a Catholic & Married in a Civil Ceremony because the Bride was a Divorcee thus Marrying Outside of either Church.
Under the Rules of the 1917 Act, The Current Prince Edward, Duke of Kent & Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester are the Last of the Royal Dukes who are Princes as Grandsons of King George V. None of their Children will have the Title Prince or Princess & on their Death, The Royal Dukedom will revert to the Crown.
Prince Michael of Kent is the last Grandson of George V, neither of his Children can be Given the Title Prince or Princess & his Sister Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy, is the Same. Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh is also a Royal Duke & his 2 Children could've been Given the Title Prince & Princess, but like The Princess Royal, he chose for them Not to have those Titles or the HRH Honorific, as Grandchildren of the Monarch, that possibility died with the Death of the Late Queen. On Prince Edward's Death, The Royal Dukedom of Edinburgh will revert to The Crown.

Her grandfather was a member of the SS. Her mother is a rude and arrogant woman. Her brother Freddy used to be looked down upon by the Queen Mother, Margaret and even Queen didn't approve of her behavior, in the past.
Prince Michael did not lose his HRH, but did give up his place in the line of succession. He was reinstated by 2015’s Succession to the Crown Act. The royal dukedoms of Gloucester and Kent will not revert to the Crown on the present holder’s deaths. However, their heir apparents Earls of Ulster and St. Andrews will not be royal dukes and as such will be addressed as Your Grace.

When They Finally Start to Process Everything & Start Putting their Lives Back Together, Do You Have Any IDEA what happens to that Process when Complete Strangers Bring EVERYTHING Back Again? I can tell You SOME of things that happen, 3 Months or even 6 Months Down the Track. Those Most Closely Related to The Deceased are No Longer under the Careful Eyes of Those who Care, concerned that they Themselves may Follow the Same Path. 3 Months later they think the Danger has Passed. 3 Months is Just about how long it is before the Grief of Loss is Replaced by the Grief caused by the Stigma of the Circumstances of Death. The Most COMMON are Guilt, Failure as a Partner, if Children are Involved Failure to Help their Mother or Father, Fear, Shame & depending on the State of the Relationship, leading up to the Death, dealing with the Partner's Family. According to Statistics, 5 Adults out of 1000 in a Normal Western Environment Die Annually in the same Manner of that Number 41% are aged between 28 & 51 Years Old & 29% of those are due to Adverse Effects of a Financial Nature & 21% Due to Relationship Difficulties. The remaining 50% is Spread over Diagnosis of a Terminal Illness, Addiction & Substance Abuse, Mental Health Issues, Loneliness & Desperation to Name a Few.
Very Few People are able to Navigate the Stigmas that are Attached to a Death in these Circumstances, without some Type of Support Network. Kubler-Ross identified 5 Stages of Grief associated with Death, the Severity of each Stage is Exponential to the Deceased Significance to the Person's Grief. A Parent will Grieve More than a Sibling, A Partner will Grieve More in Many Ways than a Parent. In a Death under this Circumstance, the Significant other of the Deceased will go through the Process twice.
I Honestly Hope To God You Never have to Live through what Lady Gabriella has had to, at least you would have the Good Fortune of Not being a Figure in the Public Eye.
