We were in Furina's slide show then it zoomed out, her play then the curtains dropped, a reflection which she cracked and flipped, then a camera lens was taken off us and the static stopped, then we see the real background/setting under WATER, then we were spectating through Seymour(???) and zoomed out, then we realize this was all her imagination/tear??? And then FINALLY viewing reality

I like their attention to detail. The whole beginning is through a mirror, her darker/lighter eye exchanged places and the bow at her waist is on the other side. Only after she breaks the mirror and the camera sweeps to the side things are back where they should be. This is teaser all right.
It might not even be Dain who does it since Furina appears to have the hexenzirkel keeping an eye on her play with N introducing her and everything as well as her voice being credited in the 4.2 trailer along with Mona's . Maybe Alice or N will do the Miscellany.
Remember Wanderer's quest from 3.3, and Nicole? She said "Unfortunately, the fate of Teyvat cannot easily be changed... perhaps a God might have a slim chance... but who can say" I think that Furina's line at the end might have something to do with exactly that! Maybe Istaroth might come into action??
So Focalors is convinced Fate is inescapable so instead the idea is to have the prophecy happen but have something in place to survive it or revert the damage after the fact. That has to be what the indemnitium is for.

In classic Greek tragedies mortals who try to escape a prophesy made by the gods are punished for their hubris, often through the use of irony, an alternate meaning of the prophesy they never saw coming Furina's speech about how the prophesy is inescapable but fate can be deceived makes me wonder if she's planning on using these same principles in a reverse fashion: by allowing the prophesy to occur she might be able to change it's meaning in an ironic, but beneficial way

But as for this video specifically, I'm convinced that she was talking to herself, Ousia and Pneuma Furina, I mean. Im guessing it means to say that although it says that the prophecy was never entirely specific, and so it only needs A Fontaine to drown, not necessarily ours. I would definitely not be surprised if Furina had already planned this specifically.
This makes total sense to me; before 4.0 I tried considering what Fontaine's situation must have looked like to Furina from the beginning and what plan would have resulted in the present we seemed to be seeing from the outside. I erred in assuming that Fontaine would be facing another four or five simultaneous threats around the time of our arrival: I'd have planned to ensure that, and I've been forced to admit that was the immature approach. Mine might have saved Fontaine from its heritage and the present dangers, but what Furina went with (and there are really only two options here) absolutely will work, and probably will result in a happy ending for everybody including herself. Which is impressive when the author was obviously writing a classical tragedy.
for me it seems like she is talking to herself, if you see in the teaser when she is in the water, she points on the left eye but when she's out she has a different dress and she's crying only from her left eye
After watching this trailer, i kinda believe now that the prophecy has aready happened and the people of fontaine are actually creation of furina from water. So in actuality, the people of fontaine are not dissolve by the primordial sea, but instead, they are just returning back to their original form. (That also explains why only people from fontaine are affected by it)

I thought the teaser was pretty clear. You can't determine truth or fiction based on human perception (kinda what shes says all the time). The prophecy is truthful because is effects all characters on the stage but not the audience. However the issue is you don't know whether you are a character or audience, so all you are left with is deceiving the prophecy in order to overcome it. The question is how?
a lot of people are freaking about how the flood will happen and people are gonna die but nobody asks how exactly fontaine will flood? But I have an idea. You know how fontaine is currently elevated above the actual ocean? Well fontaine cant really flood if its water is constantly flooding out unless it had walls higher that the land itself. So I thought "The only way for fontaine to flood.....is for it to SINK" maybe the hydro archon's power is keeping fontaine above sea level as perhaps the land was slowly sinking and furina dying will not only free the gnosis for nuevilette but also cause the island to come crashing down and sink into the ocean thus flooding fontaine. As you can see in the trailer the water looks a bit different compared to fontaines usual water color it looms kore akin to the water we see during the fight with osial and his wife as it rains. This would explain how fontaine sinks and since the primordial sea water hasnt mixed with the ocean all fontainians will disappear the moment fontaine falls as it gets plunged into the real ocean.

Now that ive seen this 10 times....prophecy already happened and only one left who can record her grief is seymour but he really isnt anything other than a recording device.... This sort of draws parallels with Raiden and Nahida teasers. In raiden teaser she was all alone after hundreds of years due to time and misery, nahida was forced into a solitary existence due to the cruelty and ignorance of her people and that one also had the samsara theme. The latest archons atleast the last 3 have this sad existential crisis they face. Its a running theme with them
